Whow it's almost another Christmas! Happy I organized all the kids presents during the year..phew. Thanks to the Crisco idea they will get what they wanted and I will have meat and drinks and be merry...yip yar! just need a bbq now to cook the Xmas meat. But then again I could always try the Hungi thing......never done it before but hey, nothing like trying new things aye bro? LOL

Well here we are moved again. Back to being in suburbia, it's not so bad here in Burton though. Definately more convenient for the shopping side of things. But a warning.........never trust Work Cover as the promises they make to help you move so you have a better opportunity for work etc.........well at the end of the day they don't come through.

The birdies are happy as, they have so much more to look at, different birds, airplanes, me making a new garden. Hopefully some day soon I will find them bigger aviaries too.

I am so lucky!!! The bloke took me to see Split Enz concert in Adelaide last week! It was the first live concert I've had the priveledge to go to and it was great especially as they are about my favorite band of all time. Kiwi's of course LOL.

Well I found something to keep me occupied.....for anyone who loves to sing it's Ksolo. There are some really excellent singers out there all over the world, amazing! We won't mention the ones that aren't that great coz at least they are trying and giving something different a go aye :)

Me... I'm still stuck at home due to my injury and now struggling with the idea of moving to the city so I have more of a chance to get back into the work force, just keep getting older and less employable the way I see it......who wants to give me a light kinda job???

I have a new baby, Button's is a Quaker parrot and too cute. Now I think one more bird to the collection and I should stop there. The kids already all me a Bird Brain or The Bird Lady. Well there's worse things to be labelled aye.

Oh well I have ended another relationship so now what? Last try on the match site then I should just give up and become a hermit I think. It's frustrating that there are so many people out there looking for a partner but ya don't see that many that really describe themselves acurately. It is what you do that is important, people can say they are gunna do this and that but it's all talk and as with my last partner he had so many ideas it wore him out thinking and worrying so much so that he seldom actually achieved anything! We don't know how much time we have here on earth so why don't we achieve as much as we can today instead of making plans that may never eventuate or put things off till tomorrow? It never comes, surely everyone knows that saying?

Well Hi there, another new month and closer to Xmas aye.

Went to Adelaide today and saw The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. It's more of a documentary than a movie, a little slow in places but kinda interesting all the same.

It still strikes me as funny when I hear people say they would rather live with animals or birds than their peers as from what I see animals and birds are violent towards each other, possessive, moody, also entertaining and loving which are all so similar to us humans?!

Galah is coming inside now, he loves it ...

Well so much for the fine weather......that all changed last night with the storm!!

So the inside birdies had to stay inside today.

I did bring Galah "Bloke" inside yesterday for the first time and again today! He thinks he is so clever being able to fly around freely, only I have a bit of a sore scalp seeing that he landed on my head at least 40 times!!! Still don't trust him around my ears seeing that he likes to bite so hard and draw blood on my fingers but he's sure a character!!

I let little Sam out of his cage today for the first time, he can't fly very far at all but he enjoyed having a go anyway, I must do it regularly now then perhaps his mate Georgia will join in too.

Well I find myself really getting interested in birds again after some 20 odd years. Since buying myself a Galah for Mum's Day this year I have since bought a pair of white faced Cockateils then 2 weeks ago a cute little Rainbow Lorikeet, he has personality plus this one, then of course I noticed a pair of yellow/orange faced Cockateils at the Market how both have damaged feet so I felt compelled to bring them home. Funny how us humans have such addictive personalities aye. OH Well can think of worse addictions but I won't even go there......
