I am at my wits end with my kids as they just don't listen to me and it is so frustrating. They seem to think that i am only here to be their slave and serve them. Having school holidays here atm isn't helping either.
We have been having real problems with tysen thinking he is the boss with absolutely everything and his attitude is so far beyond normal that anything i say is either ignored or just half done. His answer to why it hasn't been done is "I don't know" to it or i don't want to do it.
Kasey is really pushing the boundaries with her attitude and all she seems to do is whinge if she gets told no. We have been having problems getting her to eat the good food. If it's mcdonalds or junk food she will eat it but when we cook(which is most nights) she will eat 2 spoonfuls of mash potato but nothing else and she tells me that her belly is full... We have tried sending her to bed hungry and giving it to her for the next meal but to no avail.
We have recently found out that a close relative has been diagnosed with lung cancer and it has also been found on her hip, leg and lower spine. One day the news is good and then the next call i get is saying that the outlook isn't that good. It is very emotional with every call i get from family as i don't know whether it will be good or bad news.
Stuart and i have been going through a rough patch but are slowly getting better. The pressure of his work is getting the better of both of us. Him constantly going away for a week or two here and there is really getting to me as i need him to be here for me and his kids.He is going away for 2 1/2 months soon on a promotion course and thats all he can seem to talk about, it's like we don't exist to him at the moment.

I have been pretty busy with birthdays and visitors ande general crap. Since my last blog i have had my parents here, and had Tysen's 7th Birthday and his party. For his party we had 18 kids at our house for 2 hours it was fun for the kids but disasterous for both stuart and I so we have decided we won't be having any more home parties ever...

Yesterday was my birthday yay to me. another year older.. Instead of relaxing i cleaned my whole house from top to bottom. Tysen has school holidays at the moment and it's sending me insane.  Kasey has been sick over the past week with a viral infection. Her temps were up to 39 on monday and tuesday but the doctor sid she would be ok so thankfully there was no trip to the hospital.She is back to her old self now.

After the party we were gonna go out for dinner but when we got there, The line was out the door so we left and ended up having Mcdonalds instead. Then came the clean-up from the party it took me a couple of hours to get my house back to clean. Yesterday we didn't do much as we were all recovering from the day before.  Soon enough it was time to say goodbye to my parents, Tysen and Kasey were so upset that nanny and poppy had to go home and back to work. I now have to make more cupcakes as Tysen wants to take them to school on Wednesday to share with everyone in his class. I will have to ok this with his teacher again before i make them.

Well it's been just over 2 months since i last did this. We went to NSW for 2 weeks and had lots of fun but towards the end the kids started getting a bit upset as they wanted their own beds and togo back to school. Stuart has gone back to work now and i was kinda happy. I love having him home but 6 weeks with him everyday was enough, I was telling him by the 4th week to go back to work so I could do what i had to and not have him bug me.

We have been busy getting ready for my parents to visit again. They get here on Thursday for the weekend. Also It's Tysen's birthday next week and he gave us 4 weeks to organise a party for him we wanted to say no but he wasn't gonna give up about it, So for a change i gave in to him and i will never be doing it again. I will be doing mcdonalds or hungry jacks from now on. It is so much to do

I have also been "wedding planner" for a friend of mine. Only 25 more days of that and then i can be me again.Kasey is doing really well at daycare and is moving up to the next room in the next few weeks. She isn't my baby anymore, she has grown into a very independant little girl.

well it seems to be less often that i am writing on here. ok here goes.. the past 6 weeks or so have been pretty hectic with the kids going back to school and getting things ready for stuart to come home again.  Kids have been reasonably well behaved. Tysen has started auskick and is absolutely loving it.

He has also had an accident at kasey's daycare last week, he fell off the slippery slide from half way down and grazed his face up a bit but it's healing nicely and he is back to his old self again.

There is under 6 weeks til stuart comes home now and we are all so excited and can't wait .....

I took the kids bowling today and they did pretty good, Kasey beat both Tysen and I and it was her very first game.  I had a little accident at the bowling alley. as i was just about to bowl my last ball i twisted my knee. It is a bit sore but i am ok, i hope the soreness goes away enough for me to take tysen to school in the morning.

Anyway that's about it for now.

Where do i start, I had a wonderful holiday away in NSW with my family and stuart was able to come home for a while. when he was with us we took the kids to the zoo and we all had a great and tiring day. We also had time for just the 2 of us, he booked us a hotel for the night with the help of a friend, which totally took me by suprise. It was a wonderful night. It was a busy time with xmas only a couple of days after he got back, we all got so much and the kids got double presents from santa, they got presents in NSW and here from him. After a lovely 10 days together we had to say goodbye again, but he will be home again soon and we are looking forward to that.  Then it was time for us to leave all our family again to come home. On the way home we were involved in a car accident which we all walked away from unhurt... I look at my car and realise that we were very lucky to walk away with only bruising as the car is pretty badly damaged.A few days after the accident my mum came up for a week, which was lovely and just what we needed at the time. she enjoyed herslf very much and got to see the kids a bit more. I now have a car again as Stuart bought me another one so i can get the kids to school and go places when i want to. Now it's time to get back into the routine we were in before we went away as school has started again.

I have my brother coming up next week for a holiday. i am kinda looking forward to it even though he is a pain most of the time.As well as all that i have to pack for when i go to NSW for xmas which the kids and i are looking forward to as we see everyone again and then Stuart gets to come home for leave...  We can be a normal family for a while until he has to go back over there. I am gonna have all my family around so that will be really good. It is so busy at the moment but its good as i haven't had a really big down day due to Stuart not being here for a while. It is getting easier to deal with issues around here without him, though i still ask for his input with the big issues.

Well its been a while since i have written. I had my sister  and her family here. what a hectic few days that was. Her kids have gotten so big and everyone's doing great. they were all so excited to see Tysen and Kasey again as it was the first time since June that we had seen each other. The whole time they were her we went shopping and the kids got to stay up a bit later than what they normally would..

Now i only have my brother to go before i go on holidays down to see my family.  I can't wait to see everyone again.I did my first Tupperware party yesterday. I think i went pretty well, well i sold nearly $300 worth so i guess i did.. I have another one tomorrow. I am starting to get a bit nervous about it.

There is less than 30 days until Stuart comes home on leave.  I can't wait as it has been so long already. The sad part is that he has to go back for a bit longer..    I am still trying to keep myself busy as i have had one or two bad days since my sister left. But i think that it's more home sickness than anything..The coundown has started and i am keeping my mind set on that.

Well its been a bit since i wrote my last blog. I am feeling better than i did last time i wrote. We have lost another soldier, Its so upsetting but i have learnt that while its sad, I have to be thankful that mine is ok. I have my sister and her family coming for a holiday/visit in a couple of weeks and not long after that  i am going back to NSW for a holiday and to spend xmas with my family. Kids are doing much better and while they miss their dad dearly they are starting to accept that this is what he does for work and there will be times that he has to go away, but he still loves them and is coming home to us. Oh just letting you all know that 'sarah82' had a healthy baby girl Ebony Rose on the 17th September. She has been a little busy with all the kids that she hasn't had a chance to get on here.

yesterday i was having the best day then i heard that the fallen soldier was back on home soil. It made me think about what if something was to happen to stuart. How would i cope without him? I really feel for his family. It hit home for me in a big way and it has made me re evaluate alot of things in my life and what i take for granted every day.  I am a bit slow with the news as i haven't seen or heard it since the day stuart left and i have no intention of doing so until he is safely home with me.. Any way i haven't been on in a while, i have been trying to keep busy all the time. The kids are doing really well, Tysen has lost his 2 front teeth and was so happy when the last one fell out. Kasey  has started daycarefor a third day and is loving it. I think she gets bored very easily at home and needs alot of stimulation from other sources. Tysen is doing really well at school, he enjoys the routine of it and the interaction with other kids apart from his sister and usual friends outside of it.   I am doing ok most of the time, yesterday was a massively bad day but its been a while since i have had one of those so on the whole i am ok not great but just ok.

Well it's been a while, the weeks have just gone so quick. I have been keeping heaps busy to stop myself thinking about when stuart is coming back. hings have been pretty god, or as good as it can with school holidays. I can't wait for monday.

Kasey has also had a birthday, She got so spoilt she was richer than me at one stage. Tysen's attitude has been alot better int he past few weeks. I am finding it a bit easier with them both. We are in constant contact with stuart which helps he has been shopping up a storm, from dvd's to a laptop computer. I think he has shopped more than he has worked.

I am doing ok too, each day gets easier than the last, I am just taking it a day at a time and i think that as each day passes it's one less day that he is gone and a day closer to him getting home. I have had so much support from family and friends in the last month that i couldn't do it without them

The army has taken stuart away from us and i am a total wreck right now and to make matters worse when we had to say goodbye tysen was hysterical right up until we got home and kasey doesn't understand the whole thing, She knows that daddy had to go away for work but doesn't fully grasp the whole concept of it being for so long. I know that i have to be strong for the kids and i have sort of by not letting them see me too upset, but it is so hard keeping it together when they ask why did he have to go now.. I have placed a map of Oz and of where daddy is for them to see whenever they want but i didn't think it would be this hard to let him go as he has been away before but never for the length of time that he will be. The kids have been so good for me today which is unusual for them especialy when stuart is away. It will come soon and boy will i know it as tysen's way of dealing with it is to get really angry. Kasey is just real sooky and by the end of it i am going to need a month long holiday on my own i think...

We have decided that we are going back to NSW for xmas. I don't wanna spend it alone....   Hopefully Stuart will be able to come home for it. But we don't know. My mum is coming up in January for a week which will be good as i haven't seen her in a while.  We have had alot of phone calls this week wishing Stuart all the best and to stay safe and to let me know to keep them all informed with how he is doing and that he is ok..      He says that he will be fine, but it still scares the crap out of me that something could happen....
