I have gone from thinking I'll be fine to panicky about what I am going to do next year!

Just so frustrating!!

I am special!

I cannot change the way I am,
I never really try,
God made me different and unique,
I never ask him why.

If I appear peculiar,
There's nothing I can do,
You must accept me as I am,
As I've accepted you.

God made a casting of each life,
Then threw the Mold away,
Each child is different from the rest,
Unlike as night from day.

So often we will criticize,

At work we are waiting to hear about redundancies. Nice timing! Just before Christmas. I don't know what it is with companies who think that leaving this to just before Christmas is fine. They seem to forget that it is people's lives they are messing with. These people all have family and commitments. No time is nice. but Christmas??

Now That I har gotten this off my chest - the day is better!

I went shopping this morning and was reminded again of one of my pet hates - mothers who allow their children to run around a supermarket - worse still - allows the baby to crawl around the floor in the supermarket, as I once was witness to! I had 3 small children too once, and I understand how difficult it is to do the shopping with the children in tow, but do keep them under control! When you are out shopping the last thing you are looking out for is children running - let alone crawling, around. Shoppers are rightfully preoccupied with getting the best bargains or getting what they want off the shelves when the supermarket has moved everything around - again, and pay little attention to what is directly in front of them. Often the trolley is full and you physically cannot see what is directily in front of the trolley. Please! Please put the little ones into the seats and try and keep older ones holding onto the trolley - not just for the shoppers' sake, but for the safety of your children. (I'll now put my soap box away again!)

Went to an 18th birthday party last night - dressed up. The theme was Disney! Now, I'm not into fancy dress, but my husband had a brain wave - we went as the Lady and the Tramp! It is a shame really - I don't often get to dressing up and going out with my husband, and the one time I do - he goes dressed as a tramp! We had fun and watched the lunar eclipse.

Our 16 year old daughter stayed at home with her friends. She appears to be very scared of people that have any connection with church - it seems like she thinks they are all contagious and she might catch religion off someone! I find it hard that not one of my children at this time have any involvement with Church or even God, from what I can see, but I do believe that having had the right upbringing, they know the way and will need the time to make thier own choices about life. You cannot squeeze a fruit into being ripe (my wise grandmother once said.) They are still good kids and I do love them.

A lot of what I have to say in my "little bit" about my family should, I suppose, really have gone in here. But hey, this is how we learn! If anyone feels that they would like to discuss any of my issues - not because I need them to, but because it affected them, feel free to ask. I have with God's grace dealt with all my issues and am as sane and normal as can be expected. I suppose my being called "sane" depends on who you are talking to!

I am very reluctant to put in my children's names as some of the issues affect them directly and I feel they would be devistated to know that I am telling all!

So now I sit and wait to see what happens next......
