Big News

Just thought i would let everyone know that i am pregnant again with baby number 3, i was having sore boobs and sickness 1 week after conception so i have a feeling that this will turn out well.

Im due on the 30th december and i have my first scan on the 10th of may, so i will update everyone when i have some more news..

I know its been ages since i was last on and so much has happened.
Sophia is almost 2 OMG.
Joshua has been diagnosed with Global development Delay, Which is not the best news. Its basically means he is delayed in EVERYTHING significantly and he will always be delayed, he needs occupational theray Speech Therapy behavioural Therapy and physio.
Hew also is enrolled in Early Intervention.
Its been stressful but i am glad i have the ball rolling now to get him to HIS full potential.

Sophia is going along well, no problems with her.

I lost a baby on the 28th of november i was 10 weeks pregnant and had no idea that i was even pregnant! I had a massive period absolutly huge and painful and i went to the doctor and they told me that i had suffered a miscarriage :( I know i didnt know i was pregnant but that doesnt take away from the depth of my grief.

As for new years i had a great night lastnight and then this morning my bank account is $50 overdrawn and Sophias put my Mobile in her juice!!

the kids are gorgeous and they didnt fight... thats amazing Arianna is still in 0000 and is still oh so tiny but gorgeous and growing well.. She can also give a death stare thats quite scary.
All in all everyone is going well and we had a great morning!!

A huge big thankyou to everyone that showed me support this week its been very hard and has left me emotionally drained beyond belief .

Baby Madison joy was cremated yesterday her mum and dady have a tear drop urn each around their neck right next to her brothers ashes and the bigger urn was buried at a small service next to her brothers.

Thankyou again to everyone, i will catch up with everyone in the next few days.

You are all awesome, and i love you all xoxox

Im really sorry if i am not around much over the next week or so.
One of my dearest friends just delivered her 3rd stillborn in 2 years and in just 3 weeks it has been 1 year since her son passed away.
I am very very sad and i am trying to cope with a broken heart.. All the feelings of losing my own baby have come back but at the moment i need to devote all my energy to my friend.

please keep them in your thoughts

ok so we are back we had a long morning i tell ya the good news is that josh is now in half casts and he will be out in 2 weeks the bad news is that he has bad pressure sores and the IDIOT nurse told me just to soak his feet and pull off the steri strips so i did and he had stitches attached to them and i nearly ripped one out... needless to say she got in trouble! The physio enlisted my partner to put the plaster back on and then kept yelling at him because he wasnt doing it right!! hello how is he supposed to know and just to top the morning off my mum dropped sophia off the side of the hospital bed. They had to get the doctor to look at her and we had to fill out a incident report.. this took place while they were prying the plaster off joshs legs.. GRRRRR anyway i hope everyones else had a better morning then me!!

back to to the childrens hospital AGAIN!!!

So we are heading back to the childrens hospital again tomorrow because joshua's plasters are stuffed again and are causing him alot of pain! ( my poor little man puts up with so much)
The upside of this is because he is walking on his plaster ( ah huh i know clever ) they might just take the plaster off and leave it off and just make him some plastic splints to wear at night time instead!!
But i really wont know until i see the surgeon, but i will let everyone know when i get home how we went.
you can see on his knees where it is white thats where he has worn through the fibreglass and is down to the padding under the plaster!! lol anyway isnt he clever walking on them... lol

OK SO JOSHUA HAD PRESSURE SORES ON TOP OF HIS SURGICAL SITE OUCH!! BUT WE GOT THEM IN TIME AND HE HAS BRAND NEW PLASTERS ON THAT WILL CAUSE HIM NO MORE TROUBLE THE LITTLE DARLING WANTED PINK ONES BUT WE COMPRIMISED FOR PURPLE LOL AND AS FOR HIS HIPS THEY WERE JUST SWOLLEN FROM STRAIN SO THEY PUT HIS LEGS IN A DIFFERENT POSTITION SO HE ACTUALLY HAS TO CRAWL ON ALL 4'S INSTEAD OF DRAGGING HIS LEGS!! ALL IN ALL THINGS ARE LOOKING BETTER MAYBE I CAN GET SOME SLEEP NOW!!

THAKS EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND KIND WORDS THEY DO NOT GO UN NOTICED! MUCH LOVE

HELLO THERE I AM VERY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT SOPHIA IS SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT WOO HOO!!! FOR 7PM TILL 7:30AM ITS BLODDY FANTASTIC. aND AS FOR JOSHUS WELL WE HAVE HAD A FEW HICCUPS AS HE IS STILL HAVING SOME PAIN AND WE SPENT THE DAY AT WESTMEAD YESTERDAY AND GOT TOLD TO COME BACK ON MONDAY TO HAVE A CAST CHANGE AND SEE IF HE HAS ANY PRESSURE SORES WHICH IS A BIT OF A BUGGER BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE SO WHEN WE GET HOME TOMORROW I WILL LWT EVERYONE KNOW HOW HE WENT! Hi we are home finally, we arrived lastnight and everything went fairly well. The operation took around 4 hours and all was sucessful and thats where the great news ends, After the surgery he refused to wake up form the aneasthetic it took over an hour and they ended up taking away all his pain meds so he would be in that much pain he would open his eyes.

We had alot of trouble trying to manage his pain level so the poor litle man spent aloy of time screaming.

And then there was the fear that we couldnt get home from sydney because the area we live in has been declared a natural disaster zone!! but we are home and safe and thahts all that matters.
Josh is finding it hard not walking and he doesnt understand why he cant do it and he is still an a fair bit of pain.

i have had mabe 4 hours sleep since thursday so im sorry if it takes a while to reply...

THANKYOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THOSE WHO THOUGHT OF JOSHUA AND PRAYED FOR HIM WE REALLY APPREICIATE IT!!

IN 2 HOURS TIME I WENT INTO LABOUR WITH MY SON A WHOLE 3 YEARS AGO IT WAS 21 HOURS AND 1 MINUTE OF SHEER AND UTTER PAIN FULL OF COMPLICATIONS BUT WORTH EVERY SECOND AND NOW I SIT HERE WONDERING WHERE THE PAST 3 YEARS HAVE GONE!! HE IS A BLESSING AND ALWAYS WILL BE.

The Special Mother

Most women become mothers by accident, some by choice, a few by social pressures and a couple by habit. This year thousands of mothers will give birth to a premature baby. Did you ever wonder how mothers of preemies are chosen?

Somehow, I visualize God hovering over Earth selecting His instruments for propagation with great care and deliberation. As He observes, He instructs His angels to make notes in a giant ledger.

"Armstrong, Beth, son. Patron saint, Matthew.
"Forest, Majorie, daughter. Patron saint, Ceceila.
"Rutledge, Carrie, twins. Patron saint... give her Gerard. He's used to profanity.

Finally, He passes a name to an angel and smiles, "Give her a premature baby."
The angel is curious. "Why this one, God? She's so happy."

"Exactly, " smiles God. "Could I give a premature baby a mother who does not know laughter? That would be cruel."

"But does she have patience?" asks the angel.
"I don't want her to have too much patience, or she will drown in a sea of self-pity and despair. Once the shock and resentment wear off, she'll handle it.

"I watched her today. She has that sense of self and independence that are so rare and so necessary in a mother. You see, the child I'm going to give her has his own world. She has to make it live in her world and that's not going to be easy."

"But, Lord, I don't think she even believes in you."
God smiles, "No matter, I can fix that. This one is perfect. She has just enough selfishness."

The angel gasps, "Selfishness? Is that a virtue?"
God nods. "If she can't separate herself from the child occasionally, she'll never survive. Yes, here is a woman whom I will bless with a child who comes in a less than perfect way. She doesn't realize it yet, but she is to be envied.

"She will never take for granted a spoken word. She will never consider a step ordinary. When her child says 'Mommy' for the first time, she will be witness to a miracle and know it. When she describes a tree or a sunset to her blind child, she will see it as few people ever see my creations.

"I will permit her to see clearly the things I see - ignorance, cruelty, prejudice - and allow her to rise above them. She will never be alone. I will be at her side every minute of every day of her life because she is doing my work as surely as she is here by my side."

"And what about her patron saint?" asks the angel, the pen poised in mid-air.

God smiles. "A mirror will suffice."
