She came first in the Bean Bag Race hahah i was so proud, and Daddy got every moment on Video as did most other Parents! It was a really nice Day, from 9.30-12.30 which was just the right length of time for the little ones. They did their Moneynasitx Routines, Races and Tug-o-War which of course there was also the Parents turn and the Mums beat the Dads which we all got a laugh out of!

At the end each child was given a medal and a CD of photos taken of your child at school which i thought was a really nice touch. The teacher had taken photos randomly of each child throughout the term and they were put on a CD for us. After the medals where given out, there were table set up for the kids (parents) to make icecream sundaes. It was really well organised and both Kids and Parents had a ball!

They were also for sale. i have to say one thing i love about living here is i have had alot of opportunities to mix and meet with all kinds of nationalities from all kinds of backgrounds. i wouldnt have such an opportunity at home. I love it, it broadens your mind and you learn alot about our world. It is a great for my girls to know such a wide variety of people, i want them to learn compassion for all kinds of people. I think we need to encourage this in out world today.

Today i took my little girls to the Animal Orphanage here in Nairobi. Jaz (Jasmine) thought it was fantastic. The Animal Orphanage is Zoo of sorts, its where the KWA (Kenya Wildlife Authorities) bring orphaned, injured or victims of poaching. Its a safe haven for the animals until they can be released again. Kenya is definately the place to be if you are an animal lover like us!
