We have 2 four day weeks this week at the schools, as one day off is for the Royal Adelaide Show and the other one is for the teachers meeting. Love long weekends. We get to do so much at home and get to sleep in which is most important LOL

The kids are learning about cinderella this term and will be having a ball on the last week of school. It will be so fantastic to watch. Hopefully we will be invited to watch the ball and to take photo's. Will be getting doubles of the photo's so i can scrapbook them.

The weather is still like it's winter which is a great thing. Love the cold wet weather. Don't like being hot at all.

The eldest is still loving work while the other kids are still at school, and still kind of liking it, while the youngest still loves school for now.

Everyone take care and will follow up this blog soon.

Some parents are so childish

I had this one mother this morning who barely got out of her car this morning and while her child was on the foot path, told her daughter ( and pointing to my youngest daughter ) 'don't go anywhere near her, i mean it '

It's like where the hell did that come from? Was there any need for that at all? I was dumb founded to why she even said it. She might have been mistaken about another child there, but i gave her one of those looks to say ' Grow up '

I wondered who the child was when the so called mother said this. No wonder some kids lash out, and are bullies if the parents talk like this to the child. If this happens again i'll be going straight to the front office and reporting this child's mother. I know the child's name now and what room she is in. I am not putting up with that childish behaviour from an adult, or the harrassment and abuse from her putty mouth.

Am i over reacting or not. As far as i know, my child has done nothing to this other child, but this other girl was nice to my daughter in the school grounds. Go figure. I blame the parent for acting as old as her child.

My eldest daughter can't wait to work, and will do so next year. My youngest daughter just helps us around the house and she says that's her job. LOL.

We will be doing so much in the school holiday's. My elder 4 will be constantly be with friends and working, while my youngest daughter and myself will be doing alot of activities and spending as much time out side as we can.

I'm so proud of her big time. She got spoiled on Tuesday when we got told. She is doing so well at school that im bursting with pride. Im such a proud mother at the moment. All we need now to control is her little outburst of anger and we will have the perfect student and daughter.

I've been lacking in here and been missing all my friends but half my friends are in face book too so i guess i've been catching up with them in there too.

I love alot of the games in there like farm town, farm ville, uno, bejewlled blitz and many many more. I love face book to the max. I've added so many of my school friends and it's been great catching up with them online and in real life.

I should start to spend more time in here and answering questions, popping into my friends lounges more often, reading advice and commenting on it, writing advice etc etc.

I have missed this place a little bit, and i am kind of addicted to minti, but at the moment facebook is taking over my life pmsl. It's such a great site for me to be on ( just as much as minti is ) But i come here for advice too and to catch up with my mates on here, but i do that on face book too and there's so much more i can do on facebook. It's just more exciting and more fun to be on.

Hopefully i will be in here every day to write a blog or few to keep you all informed of what im doing and how my kids are doing etc. Speaking of kids, i;ll be writing a blog about my kids once ive finished this blog. Only my youngest doesn't mind me writing about her. The others are teens and can get very funny and wierd on what i write about them.

Shortly, my 6 year old daughter and myself are going to do some activities like painting, scrapbooking and writing etc, which she really loves to do.

We all have made cakes and cookies too, to eat over easter. It's been a fun day today. We all love to chip in and help make things like cakes etc. Love to eat them too.

Tomorrow will be just a lazy day, and my daughter and i will most likely do some beading, and the activities we will be doing today, tomorrow aswell.

Sunday is Easter, so the day will be my daughter's, and another lazy day with lots of pics taken on digital camera. I love kids at this age, as they're more so excited about the easter bunny coming. SO cute.

Monday is my housework day. Sweeping, mopping, dishes, cleaning the benches, and just the other usual house work stuff. Boring. But it has to be done.

Anyways, i do hope you all enjoy your easter weekend as much as i am going to.

On Saturday, we took my youngest daughter to the playground / park she always loves to go to. There's ducks there aswell, and a pond they all swim in, and she can spend like literally hours there, and that's what we did.

We also went shopping too, to get stuff we needed for Sunday. We were out for about 7 hours on Saturday. We all totally enjoyed ourselves, and were exhausted by the end of the day. Our daughter was in bed and asleep by 8 o clock Saturday night, which is unusual as we let her stay up until she is tired and that isn't until about 10 ish, and i managed to watch The BIll in peace for once, so i made the most of it.

Yesterday we went to Glenelg beach and we were out for about 8 hours. Bought some souvineers from there, treated our daughter to an icecream, and then went into the beach house which is an amusement park. Sarah thoroughly enjoyed her self, but we waited until she told us she had enough, like she did playing in the sand and water. Luckily we took spare clothing with us.

Spent about 90 minutes on the beach and water, and about 2 and a half hours in the beach house and we all enjoyed ourselves. We were all exhausted again when we got home, and didn't take Sarah long to fall asleep again and was out like a light by 7pm. Her normal bed time is 7.30 and is usually asleep by 8.30, so this just proves she was really exhausted.

We plan to do this every second week, like go out to different places etc. We took heaps of photo's aswell, which once we get them developed at K Mart, i will be scrapbooking most of them. Can't wait to get the photo's developed, and start to scrapbook.

She has 2 adult teeth down the bottom already, and the 2 baby teeth still haven't come out. I've tried giving her hard things to eat more often to get them out, but nope, they don't want to come out.

My daughter is home from school today as she might have chicken pox. Went to the doctor's last night, and all he said was it looks like heat rash, and her excema coming out again, but just to observe her over the next 24 to 36 hours.

I've been doing that, and as of yet, not extra spots have come up, or anything like that, and she was in the bath for about half an hour this morning, and being under water is suppose to bring out the spots more and helps to get rid of the chicken pox quicker, but no more spots came out, so looks like she can go back to school tomorrow so far, but will be checking her again in an hour or so, then i'll check her again about an hour before bed time.

She hasn't got a tempurature, and her mood hasn't changed, or her sleeping habits, so i kind of guessed it wasn't chicken pox, but it is going around the school, and the school did the right thing by calling me up to pick her up etc.

After we got out of the doctors, we went straight back to school, and told the vice principle what the doctor said, and she's cool with it all. She'll let her classroom teacher know what is going on etc.

Was kind of hoping it was the chicken pox, then that's over and done with, but i know you can get them more than once, but im glad she hasn't got them too, as she really needs the time at school to learn, and to be around other children.

So for the past few weekends, we have had a full on packed out weekends doing the spring cleaning and other chores etc.

Also today is my hubby's birthday and the poor bugger is working his butt off around the house, but mainly outside. Good on him for doing this.

Finally cleared out my daughter's bedroom. Wow.

Can't believe how much stuff my youngest daughter had. Got rid of 4 and a half shopping bags of clothes that were too small for her, 2 shopping bags full of soft toys and one huge kitchen bag 3 / 4 full of soft toys and to fill the rest of the bag up, i put in about 8 shirts ...

Her room now looks livable and so tidy and bare. LOL. Took me like an hour to do so, and was so hot and sweaty by the time i finished it all, and put the bags in the car ready to be dropped off on Monday at the Op Shop down the road from me.

You just forget how much stuff they have half the time, and i tend to put off sorting out her room, but from now on, i'll be doing it on a regular basis, as wow, she's got so much stuff.

Where is this cool change?

Hubby heard on the news yesterday that we were suppose to be getting a cool change about 2pm today. Where is it. It's still damn hot outside.
Can't believe the weather people even said that tomorrow's tempurature is suppose to be only 25 or 27 degrees tomorrow. I don't believe that either.
This hot weather is making me so tired and grumpy ...

This hot weather is making me so tired and grumpy and angry. I will never ever complain again about how cold the cold weather is in Winter again ( even though i don't normally ) but this hot weather is ridiculous. I'm so over this heat.

So over this heat

I'm so over this heat. I've never known my kids to spend so much time at the pool, and my youngest daughter in the bath.
I've had so many cold showers in the past week it's not funny any more, and it just doesn't feel as though the air conditioner has or is on. It's so hot and humid inside ...

I've had so many cold showers in the past week it's not funny any more, and it just doesn't feel as though the air conditioner has or is on. It's so hot and humid inside now, but at least its so much cooler inside than out.

At least SA's tempurature is slowing decreasing from 45 degrees to 40 or 39 degrees this week.

At the schools, the teachers have been wetting the kids down with water in the afternoons, trying to keep them cool, especially in the Junior Primary anyways. The weather is ridiculous, and i heard that next years summer is suppose to be even hotter. Not happy about that.

We have had a few power cuts since the heat wave on Monday the 26th January, but at least they haven't been for long, which is a good thing.
