This street is filled with westy scumbags I'm sure of it. There are some boys that are up over 18 I think who live diagonal us and they have taken to kicking a football across the street to each other and for some reason they stand in our driveway. The problem is that it hits the car and window of the house and I'm afraid of it breaking something. So David had asked them politely to move down to which he was ignored. So today I hear this almighty thud on the car and see the boy coming up beside the car to get the ball.

So having had enough I go out there and say look can you move down you just hit the car and I don't want it broken. He says to me "I've been living here ten years you can't tell me what to f-ing do" I said "I can when it comes to my property, and if you do break something I will have you charged". So he then says "shut the f up" so I say, "yes your all mouth when I'm here but when my husband is here you run" so he tells me to shut the f up again, so I say "fine I'll go ring the police now" and stomp off inside and they go racing back to the house.

I'm soooo very annoyed, not only for the disrespect for other people's property, I mean I wonder how they would react if we stood their and kicked a football straight at their parents car (not that we are going to stoop to that level), but the disrespect that he spoke to me with, I know the reason he did was to try and intimidate me, but I refused to back down because i knew if I back down then they are going to keep walking all over me.

But it just makes me want to move, I hate this street. I don't want to be here anymore. I am trying to see other than a house why God put us here, but I can't see any other reason than us needing a house. And I'm trying to remain Christian and I did really well I didn't swear at them, yes i got aggressive, but I didn't try to fight lol that would be a funny sight or swear so I did good.

I still have to finish planting the brocoli, I ran out of potting mix, I need two more bags to finish the brocoli and the potatoes. But other than that I have four tomato plants, a red and green capsicum (not on the same bush), a jalepeno chilli, about eight lettuce, a strawberry plant, six cauliflower, a ton of onions, about six beetroot and six brocoli, and then i'm going to let some potatoes start growing in the cupboard and plant them too.

I was going to do herbs but man they are so expensive. So just vegies and one fruit plant this year, I so can't wait till they start fruiting yummo. And i'm being so environmentally friendly too, I'm using my washing machine water to water them every day hehehe, I'm so proud of myself lol.

So far I've planted two tomato plants, cos lettuce, beetroot and a chilli plant. Tomorrow I'm going to go and get some herbs, onions, spring onions, leek, brocoli and cauliflower. It's a shame that fruit trees don't grow well in pots too, because I would love apple trees, lemon trees and orange trees. But that will have to wait till I get my farm.

He certainly isn't a stupid boy but why has school failed him so much? It drives me insane.

Well this is my first time here, I have now been homeschooling Samuel for a week and we are just going through the testing to find out where he is at to make a good curriculum for him.

I am so disappointed with the schooling he has received. He can hardly spell, even simple words like do he spells as dow. He mixes up his a's and u's so for example instead of writing bug he will write bag. It is really frustrating and his maths are the same. I just don't understand how a child can go through until grade three and this never be picked up or the teachers never telling me.

So I'm frustrated. But I know that it will be ok.

I am definately thinking about homeschooling the other two boys too, particularly seeing as Shannon is now ten and his spelling although a little better than Samuel's not by alot. And Peter who is in prep what hope does he have? But I am enjoying the freedom of homeschooling, knowing that I can teach him the value's I want him to have. And that he will learn at his pace rather than just being ignored.
