It has been a while. I have been incredibly busy the last 4 months. My new job is fantastic!! I am working in the claims dept at an insurance brokers.. man the things i see!!! I am learning alot! I have also started my Certificate III in Finacial Services and i think that i will have that completed by the end of the year. After that, i will be doing my diploma! Good thing it is on the job studying, i doubt i would have time to do it at home.

Austin has grown up so quickly. He talks alot. He is stringing small sentences together now. like "I dont like it" hehe that is one of his favourite. But we now get hello Mummy Hello Daddy. Nite nite Naa Nuu (love you) He is really becoming a little man now... which i find amazing and sad all at once!

I am eagerly awaiting the birth of my best friends baby too!!! After 2 years of trying she finally conceived and carried past 6 weeks!!! She is now 17 weeks pregnant and i am SUPER excited that she is going to be a Mummy!! I also have another friend who is due in September! God i wish i lived closer to them all!! But dems de brakes hey!!

My Dad is at hospital at the moment. Hopefully they will figure out what is wrong. They have him on new meds that are meant to take away 90% of the pain. He doesnt think they will cure him, but any relief at this stage will help. 4 years with a constant migrane is not good.

Anyway, my boy is letting me know that he has finished his brekkie, so i gotta go.

Not much has been happening here. My new job is fantastic. I love that i actually have a role. And i have only been there for a month, but already i have my own claims to deal with, and i have made some of my own contacts, which is great.

Austin is loving being at school 5 days, but i am a little concerned about another boy there that is biting him. My daycare lady has told me that it is a boy who is the same age as Austin who wants the toys that Austin has, but Austin wont share. I am on a mission this weekend to try to teach SHARING... but i dont like my chances in 2 days. Any suggestions???

I have asked the carer to talk to the other boys mother to get her to teach him not to bite, but im not sure how that will go either...

Other than that, not much is happening. I am FINALLY back at the gym, only 2 days a week, but it is better than nothing. I ave decided that i am better off doing classes, coz i am pretty lazy out in the general gym area, so the only 2 i can do are body attack and body step, but they are alot of fun, so im happy with that.

I am shocked that next weekend is easter. Where is the year going???  The weekend after easter, we are having our kitchen, dining room and sunroom tiled, yay, no more crappy lino. I am taking Austin out to my workmates farm that weekend, she has a little girl who Austin can play with and they have little chickens and stuff which he has never seen before. I am looking forward to watching him play out there.

We have invested in a potty and we are going to start toilet training soon.... well as soon as i have taught him to share lol.

Haha this was fun....

our move went well. Shannon's mates helped us and we managed to get it all dont in 1 day.... The unpacking however, well, we are still unpacking. Dont you just hate it when you realise that a place isnt as big as you originally thuought until you get all your stuff in and go "where will we put this??"

Anyway, we are planning on doing some renovations, shannon is already pulling apart the garage so he can turn it into a music room. We will need to take out the fridge area in the kitchen coz our fridge is too big to fit in there, so it is currently living in the dining room. Along with out deep freezer.

Austin is settling in really well. So far he has only woken up 4 times crying in the middle of the night. I was expecting it to be alot more than that (especially with the heat) He adores his sandpit and has a great time chasing the dogs around with the hose. We can now let him play outside whenever he wants because alot of it is shaded.

Anyway, here are some pics. I just took them off my phone, because Austin killed my camera - apparently sand and cameras dont mix well... Oh well, what can ya do???

We had a lovely christmas day. Woke up nice and early and got the opening of pressent out of the way. Austin loved everything he got. Which i found to be a miracle. I thought for sure he would only like 1 or 2.

We went up to Shannons sisters place for brekkie. The kids had a ball... tearing up paper... lol.

Boxing day we went over to Mudgee to visit my Dad and Chris. Again, more paper ripping lol. Austin had fun "helping" put together the ride on lion thing with Dad.

The end of a long couple of days... One pooped bubba

I havent posted one of these on here yet, so i hope it works out ok.

This was Austin and April playing with the sprinkler last week.

Thismorning, Austin was clutching at me, trying to drag me off somewhere. I followed him down to the bathroom, expecting him to want his toothbrush and toothpaste (this is normally what he wants in there) but he didnt. He walked straight up to the shower and tried to open the door... Me being the accomodating mummy that i am, opened it for him and he tried to climb in... clothes and all.

I undressed him and popped him in... He spent a good 10 minutes in there laughing his head off.

This is a huge deal for us... Before he was too scared to even stand in there with me or shannon, we had to be holding him, but now, he seems to be fine. This is a huge weight off my mind. Our new house doesnt have a bath and i was worried about how i was going to wash him, coz it is so difficult with him now that he is about the weight of a small truck lol.

I thought id take 5 mins and write a blog. It has been a while since i wrote anything interesting... not that im saying this one will be either lol.

Austin has been good... uh, wait, no... iM lying, he has been a right little shitbag!!! Damn these temper tantrums! Why oh why do they carry on over every little tiny insignificant thing? Like for instance, brekkie thismorning. I sat him in his highchair, gave him one spoonful of his weetbix... and then it began. Screaming, kicking, smacking the table, throwing the spoon, screaming some more... you get the point... I ended up having to time out him, just so that he would settle down. Bring him back out 5 mins later and try again... realy repetative story short, it took me an hour to give him brekkie...

THEN OMG you should see the state of my living room!!!!!! i recon half of his toys are on the floor and he probably only played with 1... my money tin has been emptied and sprawed across the floor... yep, mummy will pick it up later... All my folded clothes.. conveniently unfolded.. Toast that he thought he wanted.. fed to the dog... arrrgh!!!

On the flip side of this thing i call my son... haha... He is SOOO CLEVER!!! I swear i write this in every blog, but i am just so proud of him and all he can do. He can now say and point to his nose, eye, ear and mouth (cant say mouth yet). He is trying very hard to feed himself with a fork and spoon, and he is mostly successful. Just sometimes if the food is too runny, he cant get any on the spoon (which then creates what i have written above) He has learnt alot of actions to nursery rhymes.. and yet he still prefers heavy metal!! He claps and shakes hands, hi 5's and plays peek-a-boo behind his hands. Oh i could go on...

Moving on to our house.... all contract have been signed and exchanged... now we wait... til the 15th January... thats when we settle and can move in. I was so excited at the beginning of this process.. now i am sort of just wanting it all to be over, i know i know... 30 years time and it will all be over lol

Anyway, i better get moving, i have to go to work now.

The sold sign went up on our soon to be first house yesterday!!! I am so excited!!

Our settlement date is the 15th January. I am happy with that, coz they wanted early settlement, and if we did that, we would be settling 6 days before christmas. It would have been exhausting trying to move then, plus with my work going absolutely nutso at the moment! lol.

Anyway, everything else is great, Austin is going great guns, he learns a new word every other day. He is so clever. It amazes me that he came from me HAHAHa!!

Anyway i gotta go get my little lion out of bed, he is in there going Raaahhh at his toys PMSL!!!

Austin just learnt how to say Lara (my girlfriend's new born baby) over the weekend. It comes out Rawa thou, and he says it soooo softly, unlike everything else he says, coz i was trying to teach him to be quiet (ish) while we were there.

I would want to be PINK!!! She is just unbelieveable. I love her voice, her performances are incredible and OMG, she is just smokin hot!! lol

And last but most certainly not least.... One of my bestest friends gave birth to a beautiful little girl last night. She weighed in at 7 pound 9 and 51cms. They called her Lara Lee. She is simply adorable!!! (so clucky right now!!)

I am now working 9-10 shifts a week. Meaning i am getting plenty of money, but not alot of time to myself. I had my first day off in 2 weeks on Wednesday. Needless to say, i had plenty that needed to be done. I havent been to the gym in a week (oops) hehe. But it is great. I have made a few really great friends there and i am actually enjoying being there now. They have put me in the kitchen alot more now, but that is good, because it means i am getting a gauranteed 4 hours minimum each shift, where in the bar, i could be sent home after 2 if it isnt busy.

I have had a couple of altercations with the assistant manager, he is a friggen idiot. I swear. He is one of those people who just dont know when to shut his mouth, and when he insults someone, he laughs and even after you have told him that you are pissed off with him, he just laughs.  Quite annoying. He has really upset a couple of my workmates in the past couple of days by accusing them of having an affair, just because they are friends (mind you one is engaged with 3 kids and the other has been with his gf for nearly 3 years!!), so it will be interesting to see how tonight goes.

On the home buying front, things are really moving along now. Shannon sold his car on Tuesday, which means we got to pay off $10,000 worth of debt. We are really happy about this. We have an appointment next week with the mortgage broker, he should have a few lenders organised for us now, which means we just have to take in the paperwork needed for them so he can get the loan contracts drawn up for us, and we can go HOUSE SHOPPING!! YAY!!

Austin has grown up so much in the past few weeks. He is literally running everywhere. He grabs you and drags to to where he wants to go. He is getting VERY good at expressing what he wants. He will take you to the cupboard and pick out what food he wants (mind you it is usually in the biscuit jar LOL) He will shake his head when he has had enough to eat and tries to feed himself if he is not full yet. My gorgeous little man has learnt to say his cousins name too! But it is sort of a double edged sword, he can say April, but now everywhere we go, he thinks we are going to see april. When his nan was leaving on Thursday, he actually grabbed her pants, said car.. April.. Car .. April.. Hehe i guess he wanted to go see april lol.

I dont think there is too much else that is going on at the moment, really just Austin and work lol.

We had a pretty good weekend. I worked both fri and sat night but other than that we really didnt do all that much. When i woke up thismorning, Shannon was already up with Austin, so i got a sleep in (YAYAYAYAYY) and he told me we were having a bbq brekkie! Soo happy LOL.

Once Austin was up from his nap, we went out to the car yards to have a little looksee. We both need new cars and are hoping that when we get a home loan we can get a car loan too and just be paying off 1 loan. Will see how we go.

This week at work i start in the kitchen too. That should be interesting. I dont exactly know what i will be doing in there yet, all i know is that i am learning to cook. Holy shit, that is scary! hahaha.

Well im gunna go watch American Dad,  we have borrowed season 3 off a friend and i think he wants it back LOL. Hope everyone is well!

This month i have lost 3cms off my tummy, butt, boobs and thighs. I have lost 2 cms off my arms and gained 1cm on mt calves.

So i guess in one respect it is good coz i must be loosing weight but gaining muscle. But i am still a little upset that it doesnt show with my weight.

Anyway, hoping for a better result next time.

Well, i better run. Austin has been quite sooky the past couple of days and his nose has just started running, so i think i have a fun few days ahead of me!

Austin is doing ok. He is still very sooky and clingy, but i am guessing that comes with his age. Being new to this sort of toddler temper i am getting a little flustered at times, but i am slowly learning to deal with it. I have realised that i need to try to ignore him when he is carrying on for no reason and only pick him up when it is necessary. I know it is my fault he is like this to me, so now i guess i have to try and work thru this stage with him.

He is learning so so much at the moment. He is a little copy cat. In the past few days he has learnt to show me where his nose is and where his mouth is. He has also learnt to march, well, sort of. He was copying Shannon lifting his knees right up high when he walks. It is very cute.

Work is finally getting better. The other guy i work with in the bar is leaving next week, so it looks like i will pick up and extra couple of bar shifts and they found out that i have worked in a kitchen before, so next week they are training me up in the their. Not too sure what i will be doing in there yet, but i think it will just be prep and desserts. But whatever, i need the money, so i am glad they are finally sending shifts my way.

I will try to upload some newer pics later on tonight... For now i gotta go cook dinner.

We have had a busy few weeks. Austin started daycare, which he is finally settled into. He is doing very well there. He plays well with the other kids and sings and dances with them. He has now learnt a few new actions to new nursery rhymes that i havent taught him. He tries to say alot of new words since he has been going there too. He is now sleeping in the cot there, which he wouldnt do the first 2 weeks. He still wont take a bottle from the daycarer thou, i dont know why... He does eat all of his food thou, so i am not Too worried.

He can now say lots of new words. He can say pop, birdy, fish, jag and his new favourite's that have just come this week.. NO and ME!! hahaha

He is walking very well now and running too. He is such a little show off. We had Shannons parents over last night and my little performer was walking around with a hanky covering his face. He thought it was hilarious to run into the lounge and all of us. Admittedly, the hanky is white and almost see thru, but that didnt take away from the fun he was having. He has also learnt to immitate people.. He does what we call his "funny walk" where he straightens one leg and steps out to the side, like he is limping or hobbling. His Pop has a bad knee, so i think he got it from him. His other funny walk is where he will run on the spot, very fast.

He is just so clever! I can't believe how much he has grown up! Here are some pics i took yesterday.

My work is still pissing me off. I finally got a payslip from them and it turns out they are paying me even less than what i had originally thought... So i have applied for more jobs. I went back to work coz we need the money. It is barely even worth me going with what they are paying me. I also realised the other night that there are only about 3 people there that i can actually talk to. Other than the 15 year olds that is. One of the managers there is just a complete b*tch! I tried to start a convo with her and she literally just stared at me.. I had no idea what to do next... Not very friendly. Anyway, thats my b*tch about them for now. Hopefully i will get another job this week. Its pretty sad when you have only been at a place for a month and already want to leave.
