HELLO HELLO !!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe

Ok, so I said that if I didn't blog before Christmas, then I'd be wishing you all a Merry Christmas before then..

But howdy ho, I'm here.. on Christmas Day !!! LOL

Nah, I'm awake because I went to my brother's house for a family Christmas party.. and it was great !!!!!!
Great food, people, entertainment... it was all so nice :)

It kinda restored my faith in the Christmas holiday..
Because it was so nice opening presents and seeing how much effort people put into our gifts :)

It was nice to have my family all together..
And reminiscing about how life used to be like when we were younger.. hehe

Anyways, it's 2.26am here and Christmas Day only began 2 and 1/2 hours ago.. LOL

I just want to thank everyone on here for making this a great year for me..
To be honest, before Minti, I felt so alone, I didn't really have friends who understood me..
But then I found so much more in you guys..
You taught me things, lifted my spirits, listened to my sob stories.. hehe

Thank you for making 2008 one of the best years of my life..
And let's toast to a great year in 2009 !!!! (Orange juice for me though.. I'm still pregnant remember. LOL)

On that note, I'm in my final trimester now.. YAYY !!!!!
I'm 28 weeks and 3 days today :) Only 12 weeks to go :) Let's hope it goes fast.. hehe :)

I hope you all have a VERY VERY Merry Christmas.. and enjoy the time that you have with your family and friends..
And I hope that you all have a Happy New Year.. with 2009 being the year for new beginnings and accomplishments :)

HELLO ALL !!!!!!!!

Yes, it's me, the pregnant woman who has disappeared off the face of the planet. lol

Nah, sorry for not blogging in a month, life's been pretty hectic, and the pregnancy has been making me SOO TIRED :(
I've had bad morning sickness since I was about 8 weeks, and I'm almost 26 weeks.. so yep, it sucks :( lol

But anywho, a lot's been happening..

The biggest thing of all is about 2 weeks ago, we moved into our new home..
It was the toughest decision of my life, to be honest..
It's funny, you get married, you have kids, and you think that somehow there'll be that defining moment that makes you say: "Wow, I'm old now" LOL
But to be honest, that real moment came when Lawrence and I were faced with a decision, and instead of doing the "young adult" thing and going with what we wanted, we went with what we thought we NEEDED..
And I'll say, we feel so proud of ourselves..

If you've read my first Minti article, you would know that my parents were helping us with our mortgage..
Well, it reached almost $5000 per month, and we thought, was this stress even worth it??
And what sort of life are we living, if we have to rely on our parents?
It wasn't at all about pride, it was just the realisation that WE are parents now, we have a responsibility to our children..
And if we can't pay for the mortgage by ourselves, what's next.. their school fees?? Their clothes??
We wanted to feel financially secure, and live life WITH money, not a life revolving AROUND money..
So, we said, we'll do what we never wanted to do - we'll sell the house..
And it was a very hard decision to make at first, that house has so many memories.. but we knew we were doing the right thing..

And now, we're living in our house that Lawrence pays all by himself, it's closer to his work, it means we don't have to stress so much about money, it means we can provide a happier life for Alisha, and for our new baby on the way, Alexia.. and for our future children..
And it's great.. we're so much happier now :)

And unlike people our own age, we could have taken the easy way out, we could have said:
"Nah, we'll keep asking for help" but we thought: "No, we'll do the right thing, the mature thing, and start anew"

I feel so proud of Lawrence and I, we defintely don't feel like we're only 20 and 21. LOL

This whole moving experience has made me realise another two things..
How much I love Lawrence..
And also how much I love Alisha.
At first, the move was very hard for me, being the one who stays at home, it was hard for me to adjust..
But I kept trying to move forward, because I knew how much the move meant to Lawrence, and how much it would positively change his life..
And it was then that I realised that I love Lawrence more than I ever knew..
When you can do something for someone, without a hint of selfishness, without a hesitation in your mind; that is LOVE..
And in regards to Alisha, I did this for her, because I knew it would create a better future for her, give her parents that she deserved.. parents that wouldn't always worry about money, that could play with her, without a care in the world..
And so, when you can do something for someone, who hardly understands a word you say, nor the actions you take; but can see it in your eyes how much you love them; that is LOVE..

So yes, I am MUCH MUCH MUCH happier now :) hehehehe
We thought it was a good thing to move now, before Alexia is born, so we have something stable for her :)

Anywho, I'll give a quick recap of everything else, then it's onto some pictures !!!!!! HEHEHE LOL

Oh yes, the pregnancy has been going well.. the doctors don't seem to be worried :)
But the nausea has been DREADFUL :(
I feel really really bad everyday basically, I just got unlucky :(
Sometimes I just feel very bad the whole day, or sometimes I actually throw up a little.. :(
But right now, I think the most important thing is the health of the baby, which is why I'm hardly online, because I'm usually resting :)

And Alisha turned 1 and 1/2 years old; on Friday, 5th December.. and so we needed to get her 18 month immunisation needles..
YAYY she didn't have any side effects.. nothing at all, not even a fever !!!
My lil daughter is a toughie :) hehehe

Omg, and we saw the paedetrician last week.. and guess what..
She said that Alisha is developing FASTER than kids her own age, and when she's older, she'll probably be good at something like piano !!!!
MY KID'S A GENIUS !!!!! LOL

Oh, and as for Lawrence, poor hubby of mine :(
He's been sick for about 3 weeks straight..
He had a throat infection, and was on antibiotics for a while..
It kept getting worse, but now it's eased up.. but he hasn't fully recovered yet :( He's still a little sick :(
But let's hope he does get better soon hey :)

Someone who I consider to be one of the MOST beautiful people in the world, inside and out, did something very beautiful for me..
When my best friend Kell went to Melbourne recently, she met up with Annie, who gave Kell a package to pass onto me !!
You should've seen the look on my face, when I opened it to find SEVERAL gifts that Annie had bought for me and our family :)
She bought us a tea pot, Alisha a t-shirt and barbie doll, a children's face cloth, and Alexia some booties...
I just want to say, first and foremost, Annie is one of the most beautiful people you will ever meet !!!!!
I have never even met Annie in person, only spoken to her through Minti, yet she has the most beautiful heart to buy me all those things..

And as a gift to you, Annie, here is a photo of Alisha wearing the t-shirt you bought for her :)

Hey all,

Thought I'd better blog, in case you thought I died, or something. lol

But nah, sorry I haven't been on much, I've been SOOOOOO TIRED from the pregnancy.. so I've been resting and sleeping heaps :)
If you see me log on for a bit, it's probably 'cuz I'm using Minti on my mobile. LOL
But I'm lying down as I use it. lol

Nah, quick update on my mum..
She didn't end up going to our wedding, which sucked.. she had to stay in the hospital, for an extra couple of days..
But it must've worked, cuz she came out of the hospital, about a week ago !!! YAYY !!!
But to be honest, I saw her on Sunday (3 days ago), and she wasn't looking too great, but yeah..
She still coughs a lot, but let's hope she finds out why she does, hey :)

We still haven't gotten our professional photos and video from the Wedding...
But that's understandable.. it's only been a little over a week.. so I haven't nagged the people yet :) LOL

I'm doing good.. I just had a shower.. so I feel as clean.. as... Pine-O-Cleen... LOL
Yes, bad joke, but hey, that's me alright. LOL

OOOH we had our Antenatal appointment today, and Alexia (the little girl in my tummy. hehehe) is doing well !!!
He said that the 20 week ultrasound showed that Alexia is growing well, and the placenta isn't in the way.. so yipppppeeeee !!!!
It felt good to know that everything is going well.. I'm so happy :)

I GOT MARRIED TODAY !!!!!!

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!!! WE DID IT !!!!!!! hehehehe

It's only 11.14pm here, so it's still our Wedding Day.. Saturday, 18th October, 2008 :)

It was a wonderful wonderful day !!!! :)

My mum ended up not being able to go though :(
They said that if she went, she would just have to go back to the hospital within a few hours..
And another thing is, she has to now stay at the hospital for another few days :(
Things aren't looking good..
But yeah, I gotta keep that chin up :)

It was sad not having my mum there, but I know my mum understood..
And to be honest, we just wanted it over, because planning a wedding IS SO DAMN STRESSFUL. lol

BUT YEAH, WE HAD SUCH A GREAT DAY !!!!! hehehe

I cried during my Wedding Vows..
Lawrence and I wrote our own.. and here are the Vows that we said:

I remember when you first asked me to marry you and I said "Maybe". It wasn't because I was unsure, but because I couldn't believe that I had finally found my soul mate. When I was young, I used to watch movies like "A Walk to Remember" and cry my eyes out because I soo wanted a love like that. But I don't cry at movies like that anymore. And it's not because I've become a cold hearted person... well I hope not. But because I feel like the love felt in those movies doesn't even compare to the way I feel about you.

People often ask eachother: "How do you know when you've found The One?" I know because not only are you my significant other, but you're also my best friend. I can talk to you about anything, cry to you about everything, and laugh with you about the silliest things. I've never had that with anybody else. And I know I will only ever have that with you.

I want you to be the last person I see before I go to sleep at night, and the first face I wake up to each and every morning. I want us to have more kids, many dreams, many cruises... and I want us to do it all together.

And so here I am today, standing in front of all our family and friends, promising you, Lawrence, from this day forward, that you be the only person I ever love and cherish for the rest of our lives. Lawrence, I love you and I can't wait for me to call you my husband and for you to call me your wife.

And did you know.. I said my Vows OFF BY HEART.. lol
I rock. hehehehe :)

I thought I looked pretty damn good in my wedding dress.. hahaha
And Alisha looked soooo beautiful in her flower girl/baptism dress :)
And Lawrence looked FANTASTIC in his suit :)

LOL we had so much fun taking the post-ceremony photos...
We went to a park, and took a lot of loving and romantic shots..
And the photographer said we were naturals.. hahahahahahahahaha
I even joked: "When you need some models for wedding clothes, let us know" LOL

Oh, and I don't think I've mentioned this before..
But Lawrence's Dad is a Jeweller, and he surprised us with our wedding gift, a few weeks back..
He had MADE our Wedding Rings for us !!!!! And it was his own design !!! OMG !!!! hehehe
And if he were to sell the Rings, they'd be worth $3000 in total.. WOW ey !!!!! hehehehe
We thought it was so sweet, how he went about it silently, and did it for us.. so sweet :)

YES, I WOULD LOVE TO SHOW YOU ALL SOME PHOTOS, but the professional photos won't be coming for at least a few more days, or possibly a week, so when I get them, I'll post them up kk !!!!!! hehehehe

I'M GETTING MARRIED TOMORROW !!!!!!

HELLO HELLO !!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Yes, I'm in a much better mood today, and I'll tell you why..
I have 3 PIECES OF GOOD NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehehehehe

1) Yes, I'm getting married tomorrow, to the love of my life.. Lawrence.. YAYYYYYY !!!!!! :)

2) My mum is feeling a LOT better.. and although at one stage, we were told she would most definitely not come to the wedding (and might be in hospital for at least a few more weeks), MY MUM CAN COME TO THE WEDDING NOW !!!!!!
She's being discharged from hospital tomorrow morning, so yayyyyyyyyyy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If she feels sick again, she has to go back.. but otherwise, she'll see her GP each week, or maybe each month :)

It's the greatest news I've heard about her, in a while.. so yayyy, all your thoughts and prayers must have worked, THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for being the sweet friends that you are, and caring about me and my mother..
Thank you for your blog comments, lounge entries, minti mails, and minti gifts :)
You guys made me realise how good of friends you all are, and I appreciate it all so much :)

3) WE FOUND OUT THE SEX OF THE BABY TODAY...
Ok, the ultrasound woman was only about 80% sure.. but she reckons it's a.........
GIRL !!!!!!!!!!!
WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER GIRL !!!!!!! hehehehehehe
She said that she couldn't see any "dangling bits", and she just doesn't think it's a boy. hehe
BUT OMG A GIRL !!!!!!! hehehehehe

Kell is so excited, because she has two girls, and reckons it's so much fun for them to play together......
And our baby is healthy, so yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee............... all its organs and things, are there, so YAYY :)

And we have already found her a name.. we went to lunch after the ultrasound... and started thinking about names..
And we've decided to call her Alexia :)
It's kinda a variation of 'Alexis' and 'Alexa'.. and it sounds similar to 'Alisha' :) hehehehe
It sounds really cool, when you pronounce it :)
We tried to see if there were any other names we liked, but all the other ones, just didn't sound as nice as this one :) hehe
We've become really hooked on the name :) hehehehehe
We're already referring to her as Alexia :) hehehehe

Ok, just so people can think of me tomorrow (LOL), our church ceremony is at 12.30pm Perth time.. and reception 3pm Perth time..
For those in Australia with Daylight Savings, that's 3.30pm and 6pm your time..
And those in Australia without Daylight Savings, that's 2.30pm and 5pm your time... LOL
I just checked those time differences with Lawrence. LOL PMSL HAHAHAHA

I am sooooooooo excited about the wedding...........
We had our wedding rehearsal yesterday, and I almost cried when we had to practise our Wedding Vows... hehehehehehe
We wrote our own, so gonna be so sweet :)

I reckon.. I'm gonna cry AT LEAST two times.. LOL
The first, as I'm walking down the aisle.. lol
And the second, as I'm saying my Vows. hahahahaha

I feel like I'm gonna cry now. LOL

Anywho, better get going.. GOT A LONG DAY AHEAD OF ME !!!!!!!!!!!

My mum's very sick in hospital :(

I know I don't usually do this, and I'm usually this big happy person..
But right now, I'm crying as I type this :( :(

For years now, my mum has had breathing problems, she coughs all the time...
And at the time, she was diagnosed with Thyroid's Disease, but now it's probably much worse..

My dad took my mum into hospital Sunday night.. because she had a fever and stomach pains..
And this had been going on for about 4 days..
And I saw my mum at the hospital yestrday, and also just then, I got home 20 minutes ago..

She was originally diagnosed with Pneumonia yesterday.. and it was so serious and contagious, that I couldn't even visit her, in case I got it and passed it onto our unborn baby :(
And so Lawrence and Alisha couldn't come either :(
But then they said it wasn't contagious, so I was able to see her last night..
And it was so sad..
My sister and I walked in, and the minute I saw my mum lying there, I just cried.. and so did my sister...
Then so did my mum :(

And now, after seeing her today, I realise things are so much worse than I thought..
She has a lot of liquids stuck in her, so they've had to put a valve inside her, to get the liquids out..
And the valve has to stay in for a couple days, then they'll see if it's all drained out..
She also has to do a heart scan...
And with the valve thing inside her, there can be complications.. If it pierces her heart or lung, she could bleed..
And the minute my mum heard that it could happen, she just put the blanket over her head and started crying..

And the saddest thing of all is the fact that I could tell that my dad was about to start crying..
And I've never seen my dad cry before :( :(
Everyone's trying to keep it together, but it's so hard to :(

So, they're gonna do a scan to see if it's an infection my mum has, or heart problems..
They need to find out why she has so many liquids in her, and why she coughs so much...

My mum told me that she's had times when she was cooking.. but had to stop..
Because she couldn't breathe.. and felt like she was dying.. it was like her heart had almost stopped..

I know I should keep positive, but thing is, I know how bad this is..
I have this feeling..
And trust me, my dad would not be almost in tears, if he didn't think it was serious..
My mum wouldn't be in tears, if she didn't think it were serious :( :( :(

And the thing that's so unbearable is the fact that I know how sick my mum is..
After they put the valve in, the bed was too high and was hurting her back.. so she asked my brother to move it down for her, because she was in pain..
And she asked us to find her the "bell" so she could ring for help, when we weren't there :(

And the most saddest thing of all, is the fact that she was in so much pain, that she couldn't even drink her cup of water :(
She couldn't even sit up..
I ran around finding her straws, just so she could have a drink..
And even then, she had trouble doing it herself.. I had to bend the straw and tilt the cup, so she could drink :( :(

It made me so sad to think that my mum gave birth to me, clothed me, bathed me, fed me, and now I was the one looking after her :(
This is why I know what she's going through is so serious...

I want to say something, and I don't want it to sound crazy, because to be honest, I don't generally believe in these things..
However, about 15 years ago, my mum, my grandpa, and my brother saw a palm reader.. and this is what he said..
He said that my grandpa would become really sick and die within 5 years, he did..
He said that my brother would become a doctor or engineer.. and he became an engineer..
He said that my mum would die in her 50s.. and well.. things aren't looking too good :( And my mum is already 45 :(
And even my mum said today, that this must've been what the palm reader was talking about..
And she said that TWO palm readers have said the exact same thing...
I don't usually believe in these things, trust me, but I believe that what my mum got told, was the truth :(

And thing is, my mum has this ability to sense things..
She knew I was pregnant, she knows when I'm standing in front of her house, she knows if I'm in trouble...
So I can tell, by the look on her face, that she's not ok, and even she believes it :(

Trust me, I'm the most positive person in the world, but I have this feeling that things won't be ok..
And I don't know what to do.. I don't know how to cope..
I cry all the time, it makes me feel better..

I know I'm pregnant, I know I have a toddler to look after, and I know I have a wedding to plan, but this is my mum..
I love her so much, we've been through a lot.. so many ups and downs..
And it makes me so sad to think that she could be gone in a few years..

I want to look on the bright side, but honestly, I think everything is just gonna get worse..
And that's why I'm trying my best to enjoy the time I still have with her, tell her I love her, and let her know how thankful I am for everything she's done for me..

I am so glad that I was able to write that Minti article of mine, about my mother..
Because honestly, I don't want her to go, knowing that I didn't love her...

I don't think my mum can even go to my wedding.. it's in 4 days..
And it makes me so sad, because she said if I needed help with anything, to let her know..
Now it's me helping her :( :(
My mum and dad thought about post poning her valve treatment, so she could go to my wedding..
But I said I didn't want that, I wanted her to get better, and it didn't matter if she couldn't make it to my wedding..
All I care about is my mum getting better.. that's all.. :(

I remember when my grandpa was about to pass away, my cousin came over to Perth to see him one last time..
And I remember how sick he was, but he hung on, and waited to see my cousin..
And it was only after she came, that he was gone..

So I guess I'm trying my best to stay positive, and think that if I try my hardest to keep my mum happy, then she'll get more time with us.. hopefully...
But don't worry, I know I'm carrying a beautiful life inside me, so I will honestly try my hardest to keep positive, and keep the baby happy and healthy.. but I guess this is where I need all of yours' help...

I know I don't usually ask for things like this, but I'm asking for it now, because honestly, I need your help :(
Please pray for my mum, please keep her in your thoughts, please do it for me :(
I want her to get better, but if she can't, please just pray that she gets at least more time, more time to see my kids grow up, more time with us kids, more time with my dad..
I don't know what my dad would do, if he lost her :( :( :( :( :(

Please do it for my mum. And please do it for me.

Please keep my mum in your thoughts.

1 WEEK UNTIL MY WEDDING !!!!

Hey all,

Now, it doesn't take a genius to guess what my blog is about. LOL

Yep, 7 days to go.. and I'll be officially married..
Wow, it feels so weird hey, Lawrence and I only went out for 1 month, then we knew we wanted to get married..
So it's been a long time coming. lol
He proposed back in November 2006, so yep, we're finally getting married, two years later. hahahaha

I'm so excited hey, I've been so blessed to have Kell as my Matron of Honour, and most importantly, as my Best Friend..
She's been great hey, the whole wedding thing has made me realise what a good friend she is..
She's also been there to tell me what looks better, what looks bad (LOL), or whatever..
And for that, I want to say.. THANKS SO MUCH HUN !!! BBFFE !!!! LOL :)

To be honest, I can't wait till it's all over..
Man, a wedding is CRAZY to organise. LOL
And on top of that, I have a toddler to look after, AND I'm pregnant with our second child too. LOL
I really do deserve a medal. hahahahaha

So.. if you want to know how the wedding will go.. here it is. LOL

We've invited only about 40 people.. we wanted it to be a small wedding.. for just our closest family and friends :)
Because, the way we see it, our wedding day is meant to be about celebrating the best day of our life, with people who love us, support us, and have been through everything with us..
And I've always believed in quality over quality, so for me and Lawrence, we always knew we'd have it small :)

The ceremony will be at the Church I was baptised at, had Reconciliation and Confirmed at, and went to as a Primary and High School kid.. hehe
And the reception will be back at our house.. because we think that's where all our memories are, as a family :)
We're gonna have professional catering, so it's gonna be cool :)

We've got the Photographer and Videographer all organised..
Alisha will be the Flower Girl.. hehe.. she'll be getting Baptised right after our Wedding as well :)

Oh, and me and Lawrence have written our OWN VOWS..... hehehehehehehe

And the day before the wedding, we're going to find out the sex of the baby..
Well, hopefully, if its legs aren't crossed. hehehe
I'll be 18 and 1/2 weeks pregnant by then, so I'll be having my Anatomy Scan :)
I'm 17 weeks and 5 days pregnant, now :)

For the first time in my life, I'm REALLY REALLY HAPPY..
And I guess I feel like I deserve it, given that I've been through a lot, and always tried my hardest to be a good person, and to lead a good life..
So I guess that's why I feel like karma exists, because ever since I met Lawrence, everything has worked out for me :)

Anyways, enough chatting.. here are some pics. LOL

So, we went to the Perth Royal Show on the First Day.. 27th September..
Lawrence hadn't been since he was young, and Alisha had never been.. whilst I hadn't been since I was 16 (four years ago)..

So we decided to go..
And we saw Morag, Tony, and Geoff from 'Home and Away'..... OMG !!!!!!!! LOL
You should've heard the girls scream for the guy who plays Geoff..
FAR OUT.. LOL

Plus, I wanted to brag that i met some famous people. hahahaha
I've been to Telethon about 4 times now, and I've gotten autographs and photos with some famous people, so it's pretty cool :)

Oh, I forgot to mention a few months back, we were in the City, and I saw "Nobbi" and "Cherry" from Big Brother. LOL.
They were just walking around, and these people came up to them, and asked for their autographs. hahaha
I didn't even realise it was them, till the people stopped them. haha
And to think that they were just right in front of us. hahahahahahaha
But yeah, I kept wanting to tell you, Cath, cuz u love Big Brother, but I kept forgetting. LOL
I know you weren't too fond of Nobbi and Cherry though. hahaha

Anywho, this picture was taken a few days ago.. we were at the shops and Alisha decided to lie down in the middle of the Toy Area. LOL

Nah, I've been pretty good..
Last few weeks have been a bit stressful.. with finances, wedding stress, the pregnancy.. basically everything..
Oh, and there have been other personal issues too..
And also, Lawrence's grandmother in Hong Kong, passed away :( :(
She had dementia.. Alzheimer's Disease.. so sad :(
And it sucked, cuz she never got to meet Alisha :( :(

But I feel like, in the past few weeks, me and Lawrence have gotten stronger..
I keep telling myself, yeah, money sucks sometimes, the mortgage sucks, I feel really bad sometimes, but at least I have Lawrence and Alisha :)
The thing that keeps me going is my love for them, and their love for me..
I keep thinking.. life could be sooo much worse, but it's not.. which is so great :)

Oh, and guess what.. in EXACTLY 3 weeks from now, we're gonna find out the sex of the baby :)
And in 3 weeks and 1 day, we'll be getting married !!!!!! (Oh, and of course, Alisha will be getting baptised then too :) hehe)

It's all happening so fast..
Wow.. how time has flown by. hehe

OMG and guess what..
The Perth Royal Show is starting tomorrow.. so we're going TOMORROWWWWWWWWW !!!!
Alisha has never been before, Lawrence has only ever been once (but he was really young then), and I haven't been since I was 16 (four years ago)..
So we reckon it'll be a great day out :)

Ok, I think that's enough for now. LOL

Oh, wait, one last thing. lol
In two days, it'll be Lawrence and I's "2 year and 2 months" Anniversary. hehehe

I realised the sweetest thing today :)

Hi all,

Nothing much has been happening.. just wanted to share something with you all :)

You know how I said that we're finding out the sex of the baby in 7 weeks?
It's actually in 4 weeks and 3 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the time, I made a rough estimate, and was assuming I was 13 weeks and getting the ultrasound done at 20 weeks..
But I was actually 13 and 1/2 weeks at the time (now 14 weeks), and the ultrasound is at 18 and 1/2 weeks..
Sorry, if that was too complicated :) hehehe

But anywho, bottom line is, we'll know the sex of the baby, in a month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG DO YOU KNOW HOW SHORT OF A TIME THAT IS. LOL
Ok, long time, if you're like me, and countdown each day. lol

But the reason why I'm so excited is this..
When I looked at the ultrasound referral today (lol), I realised..
We'll be finding out the sex of the baby................

*DRUM ROLL*

*EGG ROLL* lol

ONE DAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING !!!!!!!!!

TALK ABOUT GREAT NEWS !!!!!!!
Sex of the baby, our wedding day, Alisha's baptism......... can it get any better ?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehehe

So on the day of our wedding, we'll already know if we're having a boy or girl :)
Hehe pregnant bride glow :)

Oh, and if you haven't already realised, I added another ticker to my page.. LOL
"....... days until we find out the sex of our 2nd baby!." LOL

I can't believe we're getting married in a month..
Seems like yesterday Lawrence proposed.. and that was 2 years ago !!!! LOL

Wonderful wonderful news !! hehe

I saw the GP today to discuss the results of my blood tests and 12 week ultrasound..
And ALL IS WELL !!!!!!!

Our baby is in the LOW RISK GROUP for baby abnormalities.. SO YIPPPPPEEEEEE !
So that means, there is a VERY SMALL chance that it will be born with any abnormalities..
Very very small chance in fact..

Apparently, according to my ultrasound results...

Trisomy 21
Background Risk: 1: 1090
Adjusted Risk: 1: 21786

T18/13
Background Risk: 1: 1986
Adjusted Risk: 1: 39709

The cut-off between high and low risk groups is 1: 300..
So 1: 1090, 1: 21786, 1: 1986 and 1: 39709 ARE SOOO MUCH MORE UNLIKELY THAN 1: 300...
I feel so healthy right now, it's great. lol

Oh, and everything else is normal.. like, my amniotic fluid, the placenta, and the maternal adnexa..
(Btw, I'm not that smart, I'm copying this off my results. LOL)

So yep, "little rice grain" (yes, I know he/she is not a rice grain anymore. LOL), is healthy !!!!!!!

Onto other news, my nausea has gotten SO BAD that I had to ask the GP for nausea pills :( :(
If things get really bad tonight or tomorrow, I'm gonna have to take them..
It sucks hey.. the morning sickness is actually even worse now :(
I may not be throwing up 24/7, but trust me, nausea is not any better.. Imagining feeling sick ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, but being able to do nothing about it.. I don't even eat, and I feel sick.. :(
But it's all good, I'm happy the baby is well..
At least the nausea is a reminder that he/she is still there and healthy :) hehehehehe

Oh, and another thing, poor Alisha had a little cold before..
It was the FIRST TIME she had ever been sick since she was born !!!!!!
Wow.. 15 months without a cold.. HOW GOOD IS SHE. hehehehe
But it's easing up, so she's nearly ok :)

And as for Lawrence, poor him :(
His neck has been hurting a lot for the last couple of days..
I gave him a few neck rubs, but they didn't help too much.. he's in too much pain :(
And I tried putting "Dencorub" on him, but that sucked too. lol
But the GP reckons it'll get better in a couple days, so hopefully ey :)

BUT YIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BABY IS HEALTHY !!!!!!!! lol

OH AND OMG IN 7 WEEKS TIME, WE WILL KNOW THE SEX OF THE BABY !!!!!!!!!
PAR-TAY !!!!!!!! (As I told the GP as we left the room. hahahahaha)

I'm gonna make this a quick blog, cuz the morning sickness is worse now :(
Been feeling nauseous all day... but not tired enough to sleep yet..
So I'll sleep soon-ish :)

I've got ultrasound pictures of "little rice grain" from my two last ultrasounds :)

Oh and yes, my last ultrasound on Friday did go well... All of baby's feet and fingers etc are there !!! :)
But I'll be seeing the GP on Friday to discuss the results of the blood test and ultrasound.. But hopefully everything will be ok :)

Hi all !!

Yes, it's been almost 2 weeks since my last blog post..
Ok, a lot of stuff has happened..
But been too lazy to blog it. lol

Now, here I am, as pregnant and bloated as ever. LOL

Ok, last weekend, Lawrence had Friday, Saturday and Sunday off !!!!!!!! YIPPEE !!!!
But trust me, he deserved it, he had to work 10 days in a row, with no days off :(
But yep, so we were like: "Time to relax.. and par-tay!!" lol (Not really, more like, shop to relax. lol)

So, on Friday, we slept in for a while..
Then spent a whole day and night in Fremantle :)
And OMG THE MOST SPECIAL THING HAPPENED..
Lawrence knows that 15 YEARS AGO, my cousin took me to a park in Freo...
And I remember going back there when I was in Year 1 or something..
And for all these years, I'd wondered where that park was.. The memory was so blurry in my mind, ya know..
And when we drove around, LAWRENCE FOUND IT FOR ME !!!!!!!!
When I described it to him, he said he knew where it was.. and we just drove there !!!!!!
Wow.. you should've seen the look on my face.. I was in shock..
It brought back a lot of memories :)

Hahahahaha here's a funny story..
We were in 'Red Dot' right... and I saw this cute kid veil.. and I'm like: "OMG let's put it on Alisha"...
And next thing you know, my 15 month old daughter was on the verge of getting married. LOL

Then on Sunday, we went shopping in the City..
We were in Target, and Alisha found this 'Dora the Explorer' musical sofa.. and starting dancing on it. LOL

Ok, now for the updates on my life. lol

MORNING SICKNESS:
Hmm... not as horrible as before.. but not great either :(
Still feeling sick a lot of the times.. and becoming really picky with food, can hardly eat a lot of stuff :(
But yayy, happy about being pregnant :)

WEDDING:
Yayyy getting married in 1 and 1/2 months.. WOOOO HOO !!!!!!
OMG AND I FORGOT TO SAY.... SO BLOODY IMPORTANT. LOL
On Saturday (one of the days Lawrence had off), we had to take a '1 day Catholic Marriage Preparation Course' and it was soooooo good !!!!!
I learnt so much hey.. it was great..
And the Priest said something that made me cry..
He said: "You'll never know what love is.. until you've been married for 50 years... and your other half dies..."
That's so true.. I can't imagine my life without Lawrence hey..
It sounds lame, but I miss him when he's in the toilet.. lol
It's true.. and I don't mean it in an infatuated way, I just mean, when he's not here, I feel like a part of me is missing :)
But yeah, the course was great, went for ages though.. lol.. from 9.30am to 4.30pm..
Met some cool people.. and it was our first day away from Alisha :) (Had to be away from her, cuz I doubt people would've liked having a kid there all day. lol. So my brother and his girlfriend (Alisha's soon-to-be Godparents) looked after her.. they sed she was a 'good lil girl' LOL)

To sum up how my life is right now.. I am SOO HAPPY hey..
I feel, like, for once in my life, I have everything..
And I feel sooooooo lucky and soooo blessed......

Better stop blogging, before you all die. lol

Because of the morning sickness, I can only jump on quickly sometimes..

Hey all,

Yes, I only blogged two days ago, but oh well. lol

Anywho, here's a cute picture of Alisha touching my growing baby belly..
This was taken on 27th July.. I was 6 weeks and 6 days then :)

Yesterday, I was 10 weeks and 3 days :)

Oh, and I've been naughty.. I'll tell you why. LOL
I know it's still early and we don't know the sex of the baby yet, but I couldn't help but buy clothes !!!!!!! lol
I wanted some clothes for the baby, so I could let it all sink in :)

And I have a feeling it's a boy, so I couldn't help but go shopping with Alisha today.. hehehe
And so we bought some clothes for her brother-to-be (or sister-to-be, if I'm wrong. lol)

If it ends up being a girl, we'll be happy either way :)
And we'll keep the boy clothes for when we do have a boy, then :)

But for now, me and Lawrence are gonna refer to the baby as a boy. hehehehe

But it's a secret....... hehehehehehehehehe
We came up with the name at 2am.. and when Lawrence sed it, I just KNEW it was it !!!!!!!! :)

But if it's a girl, we'll have to think about it a bit more :)
There are SOO many nice girl names, so it's hard to choose one. lol

A very special Minti blog :)

This is a special blog, I'm writing to some of my special Minti friends :)

Today, I jumped onto Minti, and I saw such a sweet message that Annie left in my lounge..
I won't copy and paste here, don't want to embarrass her :) hehe

Anywho, she basically said she missed me.. and she knew it was my morning sickness keeping me from blogging..
But she just wanted to say that she missed me :)
And I thought: "Wow, what a sweet message.."

And it made me realise..
Yes, sometimes this place can have its ups and downs, but for me, I've made the greatest friends on here...
Ever since I was about 15, I've had trouble getting along with people my own age (I wanted to talk about things like "Schapelle Corby" and they wanted to talk make-up. LOL)

Anyways, on Minti, I've found people who understand me.. have the same sense of humour.. and are the most understanding people in the world :)
If only I could meet you all !! hehehehe
(I haven't quite won the Lotto yet. LOL)

As Annie was the reason why I began this blog, I thought I'd talk about some people on Minti, who have touched my lives :)

First off...

Annie
She's the sort of person, where, as boring are your blog is (hehe), she will comment.... she will always listen to you, contribute, make you feel good about yourself, and share her own experiences..
When I sent a special lounge poem to all my Minti friends, she replied back with:
"it comes from a beautiful person and straight from the heart thats why i love you as a friend so much"
Every word that comes out of Annie's mouth, is always so very sweet :)

I recently wrote an article on Minti, about how I battled Depression, but how I overcame it..
And Juzzy's comment made me feel so glad that I wrote it..

Hello all,

Yes, it's me, crazy pregnant woman. lol

I haven't been on much, cuz the morning sickness is really getting to me :(
It wasn't too bad first time around with Alisha, but with 'little rice grain' here, it's awful hey. I'm being serious :(
Like, I'm generally a person who doesn't complain when it comes to physical pain (I'm more of an emotional pain, kinda person. lol)
When I was 5, I had a staple go through the palm of my hand, and I didn't even cry. lol
But for me to complain about something physical like nausea, trust me, is pretty huge :(

It's pretty bad.. I don't have to smell anything, eat anything, and I still feel bad..
In the mornings, I have to lay in bed for a bit, while Alisha plays around, just so I can get extra sleep..
And it's not like I'm not getting enough sleep at night, I'm just STILL tired anyway when I wake up..

Though, good thing is, after I put Alisha to bed, I'm generally so tired, I wanna sleep..
So I've been sleeping for a few hours after I put her down, then waking up to eat.. then going back to sleep..

I know my BBF Kell is really sick too atm.. she's got her cough.. so hope you feel better soon hun !!!
And I know Cass is sick.. so hope you feel better soon too, sweetie !!!!!

Let's see.. what else has been happenning... trying to recap. lol
Oh yes, we've booked in the Caterers for our wedding (we're going to do the reception at our house.. because we like the idea that it's where all our "memories" are.. where our "home" is.. hehe)..
And we've booked in the Photographers.. OMG, they are SOOO GOOD, but soo cheap too.. and they seem so nice !!

If you're wondering, from day one, we knew we only wanted a small wedding..
Cuz, when we look around the room, we want to know that each and every person there, is special to us..
So that's why we've only invited 34 people.. LITERALLY... lol.. 37, if you include me, Lawrence and Alisha.. LOL
38, if you include 'little rice grain' LOL

Me and Lawrence have sed, even if we had HEAPS AND HEAPS of money, we would STILL make it a small ceremony..
The only people who mean a lot to me are my immediate family and my friends..
Omg, I'm gonna cry, so excited.. lol

I'm gonna try sleeping again soon..
Hope I can get back to sleep.. Don't know if I'll be able to :(

Anyways, if you don't see me online for a while, I'm probably resting and feeling sick :(
But I might come online once in a while, comment here and there.. or maybe just have a look around without commenting :)

Yes, it seems 'little rice grain' sure knows how to ask Mummy for food. LOL

I was sleeping.. then I woke up, cuz bubs inside me was hungry..
So there I was at about 6am, eating some strawberries. lol
They were really good, mind you. From woolies. LOL

And then I just ate a banana..
But yeah, as you know, healthy food doesn't fill u up too much sometimes, so looks like I might have to munch on something else. lol

Then again, I better go back to sleep soon..
Or else Alisha will wake up and I'll be like: "Damn so tired" :( lol

I got a good 5 hours sleep, which is good..
I actually went to bed when I was tired, so yippppppeeeeeeeeee...

I'm feeling a bit strange though.. bloated in the tummy..
Felt like throwing up just before.. hmmm

Oh yep, we saw my GP yesterday..
It was Saturday, so he was dressed casual.. it was pretty funny.. he sed he was gonna have to go home and help the wife, cuz they were having visitors over. LOL
"I guess I'll have to help cook, clean.." LOL

Anywho, all my blood tests and urine test came back.. and yep, everything's good !!
Looks like I'm almost 9 weeks.. OMG only three weeks to go, and I'll be outta my first trimester !!!!!

Wow.. to think, in about 7 months time, we're gonna have a little brother or sister for Alisha..

Oh yes, speaking of which, who wants to help me pick out baby names? LOL
There's so many girl names out there, but we're having trouble picking out a boy one...
I still have a feeling it's a boy, so yeah. hehehehe
And if you're wondering, we're gonna definitely find out.. we wanna know !!!!!! hehehehe

So excited... I better try going back to sleep now..
Hope Alisha doesn't wake up soon. lol
