P.S. I went to Mia's 1st Birthday Party (daughter of ellamia) on Sunday and it was great !!! We had a wonderful time !!!

But yeah, for a few weeks now, Alisha has been able to take several steps..
Even about 20.. then she's been just falling down.. lol
But as of the 20th of June (yes, fancy. lol), my daughter could walk !!!!
She follows me around now ! I have a groupie ! haha

Lawrence and I are so excited…

And ok, Alisha is dancing to my music atm.. haha

I know I haven’t blogged in ages.. hope ya didn’t miss me. lol
But so much has been happening, so I’ve been gathering up my pictures and videos, so I could show you all :)

A couple weeks back, 3 of Lawrence’s friends decided to pop around for a visit..
And two of them have never seen Alisha before… so it was great to see them too, as it’s been a while :)

There’s been no stopping her…

We went to K-Mart..
And next thing you know, destruction was occurring in the toy section.. hahaha

Thank you to EVERYONE that wished Alisha a HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY for Thursday, 5th June :)

We had a Combined 1st Birthday Party for Alisha and Housewarming Party, yesterday, on Saturday..
And it went REALLY REALLY WELL !!!!

It was Lawrence and I's first party since moving out of home (over a year ago)..
So as you could imagine, STRESS STRESS STRESS. lol
But all the stress and 6 hours of cleaning paid off. HAHAHAHAHA

Surprisingly, there was enough food and people liked it, had a good time, and no balloons popped. hahahaha
(Well, not during the party anyway. LOL)

And the birthday girl had a wonderful wonderful time :)

It kinda goes to show, even when you're 25, or even just 1, there will always be people out there that care for you, whether you remember it or not !! hehe :)

Awww can't believe my baby is 1 today !!

The day went off to a good start..
Alisha woke up and we helped her open her pressies :) hehe

We saw the Child Health Nurse and weighed her...
And she said that Alisha is developing great.. Nothing to worry about :)
And It made me and Lawrence feel so good, when the nurse said:
"You guys should be really proud of yourselves" :) Awww hehe.

OK, Alisha was just trying to lick my foot just then. lol

Anywho, I just wanted to say to my lil baby girl...
Ever since you came into my life, I've learnt what love really is..
I never knew that a little cute thing like you, could bring so much happiness to my life...
And I know you will grow up to be a beautiful young lady :)

("Lishi" is our nickname for her :) hehe)

My baby daughter Alisha is turning 1 TOMORROW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her birthday is 5th June :)

And so, as I was looking at the packet, I noticed a 'Feedback Hotline' where you could call and let them know what you thought of the product..
And thing is, I've never done this before..
I have never liked anything THAT much to want to call (LOL)...
Or hated anything THAT much either.. hahahaha

But I thought to myself: "why not?" :)

I called the hotline and a nice woman answered..
And I said:
"This is gonna sound a bit lame *laugh*, but my daughter is almost 1 years old, and she tried those mini rice cakes that you guys sell.. And she loved them!!!!!!"

And you should've heard the excitement in the woman's voice.. she was so happy that I called !
She said: "That's great to hear !!!!!!"

And I continued to say: "She ate 3 of them in 15 minutes... and I couldn't believe it.. Because we've been trying so hard to find a finger food that she would eat, so we were so glad when she ate them!"

And the woman replied with: "Thank you soooooo much for calling ! I'll pass that on to our marketing team !!!!!"

And it made me feel so good inside.
I know it sounds kinda lame, but that's the feeling I get when I help people...
Because my hubby works at a call centre, he knows what it's like to be given s*^^ CONSTANTLY...
So he thinks that the woman must have been VERY EXCITED that someone called to actually give NICE feedback !!! :)

This reminded me of a time when I was in high school..
I was in the library studying, and this girl asked her friend if she had a pen, but she said no...
And I turned to her (without even knowing who they were) and offered mine...
And they were really grateful..
And it made me feel so good.. lol..
It may have been a little gesture..
But sometimes, a little gesture does go a long way :)

But anywho, if you're wondering, the baby rice cakes that Alisha tried were:

But yeah, at my parents, my whole family was there - my brothers, sister, sister-in-law, nephews and my parents (obviously. lol)...
It was good... my Mum made some Mussles.. and OMG SO YUMMY....
I was the last one to finish eating.. haha
Not that I finished.. everybody started leaving before I finished.. so I didn't get to eat as much as I wanted :( hahahaha

Anywho, the longer this entry is, the less time I spend on Minti..

I'm only on because I love Minti sooo much.. lol
But yeah, I'm getting off now to get a good night's sleep...

It's been pretty horrible feeling sick all day and having to look after Alisha by myself...
And having to do the dishes.. take out the rubbish.. cook...
I know, it's the typical stay-at-home-mum thing and I love it.. trust me :)
But when you're sick and hubby's at work, it's pretty tiring because you can't lie in bed and be sick.. you gotta just keep going :)

But anywho, I'm not complaining, just thought I'd share my feelings and see if anybody cared... LOL

So yeah, if I'm hardly on for the next few days and nights (or just comment once in while), you'll know where I am...
In bed or looking after Alisha !

On a lighter note though, this morning began really well :)
Lawrence had work at 8.20am so he woke at 7am and I made him a surprise breakfast !
I was feeling alright at the time so I thought I'd do that.. and it made him really happy :)

Oh, last Saturday, we went shopping and got Alisha some winter clothes...
OMG HER NEW CLOTHES ARE SOOO CUUUUUUTE !
I'd upload some pictures but the Bluetooth USB is broken :( lol
Lawrence is hoping to scab one off his parents.. they're on holiday atm. LOL

Can you believe it... Another two months and Alisha turns 1 !!
We're hoping to throw her a big party !!!! hehe

But anywho, another thing about Saturday, my brother and his girlfriend came over for several hours...
And it was so much fun !
I have two brothers.. I've talked about my eldest brother, but this is the 2nd oldest brother...
He's two years older than me :)

But anywho, before my bro started uni, he and his girlfriend used to come over every night and play X-BOX with us...
and bitch, as you do.. LOL
But with uni and all, he hasn't had time to come over...
So it was the first time in MONTHS that we'd seen them...
But it was really good :)

I really love my bro and his girlfriend.. along with my hubby, they're my closest friends...
I used to have some rough times with my bro, years back, but things have changed so much...
He's really believed in me and for that, I'm so grateful....
Ever since we were kids, he was always there for me...
He taught me how to ride a bike, to believe in myself, and was the best role model... always guiding me in the right direction :)

Anywho, better be off to bed...
Being sick sucks :( lol
