A group of at least 17 teenagers in Gloucester Massachusetts made a &quot;pregnancy pact&quot; to all get pregnant and raise their babies together. What could be the reason for all these teenage pregnancies?<br />
<br />
Lets look at our popular culture over the past year or so. In the celebrity category we have 17 year old <a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/?url=search-alias=aps&amp;field-keywords=Jamie%20Lynn%20Spears&amp;tag=connwithyourt-20&amp;link_code=wql&amp;camp=212361&amp;creative=380601&amp;_encoding=UTF-8">Jamie Lynn Spears</a>, sister of Britney, star of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/?url=search-alias=aps&amp;field-keywords=Zoey%20101&amp;tag=connwithyourt-20&amp;link_code=wql&amp;camp=212361&amp;creative=380601&amp;_encoding=UTF-8">Zoey 101</a>. She just gave birth to a baby girl the other day. Then there was the recent hit movie <a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/?url=search-alias=aps&amp;field-keywords=Juno&amp;tag=connwithyourt-20&amp;link_code=wql&amp;camp=212361&amp;creative=380601&amp;_encoding=UTF-8">Juno</a> about a pregnant teen and <a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/?url=search-alias=aps&amp;field-keywords=Knocked%20Up&amp;tag=connwithyourt-20&amp;link_code=wql&amp;camp=212361&amp;creative=380601&amp;_encoding=UTF-8">Knocked Up</a> about a pregnancy from a one night stand.<br />
<br />
Whether this is the reason or not, it might be a good idea to talk to your teens about these pregnancies. This could be a good time to use pop culture to connect in a different way, as a life lesson.</p>
