So its good to have the kids home & not have the morning rush baking cakes or muffins, making lunch & making sure the kids are out the door so ... So its good to have the kids home & not have the morning rush baking cakes or muffins, making lunch & making sure the kids are out the door so they arrive at school on time.  Then on top of that is all the extra school comitments at this time of year music concerts, family picnics, plays & tonight was the final a traditional xmas story done by the class teachers & it was actually quite funny, but a little long especially for 2y.o's.  Mine along with many had to be taken outside to vent some energy.  Then there is tomorrow helping making pizzas in the wood fired ovens my daughters class has recently finished as a class project.                    So I am looking foward to a few sleep ins (past 7am) & doing some things with the kids & slowing down the pace a little.

Took the kids to a rally yesterday about logging in our water catchments near where we live, we're all being told to reduce our water consumption but the government is happy to log our trees in old growth forests.  There was heaps of kids their which was great to see it's important for them to learn about these things, its there future! We all want the best for our kids, but we shouldn't do it at the planets expence.
