This summer, until October 23rd, Jeppe Hein's fountain is back in London. You will find this wonderful and refreshing interactive display at Southbank Centre.

So what exactly is it? Well, this danish artist created a fountain called "Appearing Rooms". It is an intriguing interactive installation where walls of water rise and fall randomly to create a series of constantly changing 'rooms'. Visitors can walk in and out of these rooms but they had better move quickly if they don't want to get wet! No doubt the kids will have the opposite idea and think that getting soaked is what it is all about :)

Daily 10am to 10pm
Southbank Centre
Near Waterloo
Free

Experts will be on hand to show them how to record, analyse, identify and interpret finds, which all form a vital part of a bigger puzzle. Participants will then down tools and see how their discoveries give us evidence of ancient buildings. Piece by piece the fascinating world of early Londoners will be uncovered.
