Rayne got personal bests in all of her 6 events, and won one of her heats. She is so proud of that ribbon. Cali did well also. That will be her last meet, as she has decided to continue with gymnastics instead of swimming. Her coach has recommended her ...  My girls did wonderfully at the swim meet this past weekend. That will be her last meet, as she has decided to continue with gymnastics instead of swimming. Her coach has recommended her for competitive gymnastics. 

I wonder how we are going to balance two children in two different competitive sports. Time consuming, but we'll manage (I hope).

We are planning our towns first mom to mom sale in October. It is an event where moms rent a table to sell their unneeded stuff to other moms. We are at the planning stages, and things are starting to come together. I am glad to be ...  After work today I met with a few other mums in the area. We are planning our towns first mom to mom sale in October. It is an event where moms rent a table to sell their unneeded stuff to other moms. We are at the planning stages, and things are starting to come together. I am glad to be apart of something like this, especially with it being a first for our town. We plan on donating the money raised to a local charity. I'll keep you posted.

What a great time. We booked last minute, and got a great price-- couldn't resist it!   The girls had a great time. It is the off-season presently, we almost had the place to ourselves. I have never had a bad one yet (and we're not planning on moving anytime soon).  In this house we only have one immediate neighbour. And they have a pool!  Today, being 32' without the humidex, I could no long resist the "use it anytime" offer. Seeing as they are 9-5ers, no one is ... It's great to have great neighbours. And they have a pool!  Today, being 32' without the humidex, I could no long resist the "use it anytime" offer. Seeing as they are 9-5ers, no one is home during the day. We on the other hand are. The sprinkler just wasn't cutting it, so we spent a good 2hrs in the neighbours pool.

What do you think, when people say "go ahead, use it", whatever it be..... do you think they really mean it?  I say yes.

"When the adult teeth are ready, they will push out the baby teeth." She had an x-ray a few weeks ago to check for cavities--none. But I sure was glad to see something else ... I finally found the time and used it today. 4 1/2 hours I spent there!!! The girls were are school, the hubby at work, I had nothing, or no one to worry about. It was wonderful. A facial, an hour full body massage, lunch, a manicure ... My husband gave me a day at the spa for my birthday, back in April. I finally found the time and used it today. 4 1/2 hours I spent there!!! The girls were are school, the hubby at work, I had nothing, or no one to worry about. It was wonderful. A facial, an hour full body massage, lunch, a manicure and ear candling (eekkk). No, it was all a great experience. So wonderful, in fact, I'm going to make "mommy time" at the spa every 2-3 months. Just a massage, we'd have to sell the house if I did the package every few months!

Both my children are in school full time, monday to friday. So today was clean the house day. Yuck. Luckily my husband helps. It's a joint effort!!  I'm one of the luck ones.
