Well I got my brother to clean my couch, so i got a pail full of hot water, with dish soap in it, gace him a scrub brush that had a handle on it... And i had asked him to just watch dom so that i could do some ... So i know you all are wondering how this couldve happend.. Well I got my brother to clean my couch, so i got a pail full of hot water, with dish soap in it, gace him a scrub brush that had a handle on it... And i had asked him to just watch dom so that i could do some dishes (lately ive been really lackin on doing dishes). Well when my brother looked at him to see what he was doing he said he was just laying there.. so he turned around and started scrubbing the couch. When he turned around again it was too late to help him, Dominik was tring to pull himself up onto the pain and tipped the hot water on him. Luckily i was onthe phone with my mom and my parents were over here in no time! ran me up to the hospital, so now hes in bandages and wearing one of my t-shirts. while we were there we found that the cops busted in my door becausemy mom called 911, and forgot to hang up.. But as you can see in these pix hes still got a smile on his face.. god love this beautiful child : )

]]> http://www.minti.com/members/proud-mommy/blog/363190/ http://www.minti.com/members/proud-mommy/blog/363190/ Wed, 11 Apr 2007 08:17:56 -0700 once again another update proud-mommy So dominik is now 17lbs 8oz.. hes 27 1/2" long, one and half inches away in needing a new car seat... thnk god this little man is growing.. it makes me so happy to see how hes comming a long.. hes getting up on his knees, and walking with assistance. which is really great. he can sit almost by himself, ... he can sit almost by himself, except that when he gets really excited he flings himself back..
hes sleeping about 10-12 hours at night, yae for me. and thats wonderful for him too.
hes saying mama, mum mum mum mum, and papa.. he was first able to relate who papa (grandpa) was, and now when he wants me, he can relate mum to me. and i think mama is just another sound to him still. im pretty sure he understands be nice.. be just grabs at your face, its crazy..and kinda painful.
He is getting around soo quickly somehow, i leave the room for about 2 mins and hes already on the other side of the room from where he was when i left the room. its crazy..
He has sippy cups and knows how to drink for them but i think he enjoys the sound that it makes when he hits it off something rather than drink from it. haha. silly boy.
Anyways Im glad to see that there are still some people who check up on us and see how things are goin...

Dominik is going to be 6 months next week.. time has just flown by and im really sad i dont feel like he or i got to enjoy his first 6 months of life because of everything thats gone on with him.. I love how hes moving along, growing up, and ...
He gets his 6 month needles on the 27th.. oh joy : ( but then thats it until a year old.. Theres also another part of me that cant wait until he gets older and is starting to walk and starting to talk.. I mean he says mama, papa, baa baa.. Its soo cute.. but obviously those are just sounds for now. I think ive just got mixed feelings..

Ive gone back to school now.. Aparently its fulltime... But its only 3 hours a day.. I feel like im cheating dom out of mommy and dom time.. I wanted to stay home for his first year, and i would really still love to but ive got 4 credits left and i want to get them done and over with.. Dominik is now 5 1/2 months and from what his nurse is telling me he is doing things that 7 month babies are doing.. He can sit, and stand with assistance... Hes gaining weight but slowly.. Late Feb or early march he started rolling from his back to his belly, he finally got over ... Finally something good i can say.. Late Feb or early march he started rolling from his back to his belly, he finally got over the hump of getting over his arm.. Hes starting to sleep from 6-9 hours at night.. yaee.. finally..

His ecezma cleared right up and lookin better than in the pix below.. thank god, his ear infections, and sore throat have gone away.. And his two teeth are gettin soo big.. Im soo proud of my little man..

What i thought to be just a cold, he has most likely got strep (i gotta get results today) he has ear infections in both ears, hes only gained 3oz in the last 3 weeks, hes up all night with extremely itchy skin..

i pretty much almost come to tears each time i wash his face because I need to get the fuzz and crap off his face so that no infection sets in, he just screams because im pretty much "ripping" the skin..

Anyways I am really hoping that he gets some relief real soon..

I dont know if you can see it but the darkest red parts and open sores of blisters and weepiness.. Now right now his WHOLE face is coverd in cracked weepy skin.. there is NO white on his face, and this pic was taken 2 weekends ago.. Feb 9-12

Dominik is agian gaining weight.. he weighs 17lbs as of last tuesday.. He can 70% of the time go to sleep on his own.. Its soooo awesome..but he does get up lots at night.. he is definatly on a schedule during the day.. but the night is messed up... He got his needles last tuesday too.. ... Welll im finally back..
