Well Wow What a couple of days....

Well wow what a couple of days it has been....Well a short version of the story is this...Ken had a son when we met....His name is Cory Richard...He has recently turned 16 in June this year and we have recently found him over my space....There was a lot of bad blood between Ken and his ex(Belinda) and they both made mistakes after the break up...Well when we found Cory on my space we knew by the photo he had to be Kens son...Looking at them I am in shock of how much they look alike.....So our daughter Michaela added him as she too is keen to get to know him as well....She then got on his messenger and talked to him and told him who we were and why she wanted to meet him....He signed out and then we emailed him...His mum emailed back and said he did not want to make contact with Ken but Ken had to keep trying....Even if he met his sister and not him...In the End his mum rang us and we all talked on speaker phone...We are all trying to work something out so that all the kids can meet and Ken and Cory can meet and go from there....We are hopeful and really want to Meet him very much....Ken is scared but hopeful....Anyway here is some photos of Cory that Belinda has sent us and Cory has given us permission to put up.....

Phew....Happy 18th Aidan for the 6th And Happy 15th Michaela for the 8th!!!

Well the last couple of weeks have been more than hectic organising an 18th for Aidan....Finally it all fell into place after djs cancelling the thursday before then booking another which also cancelled friday night then booking another who cancelled saturday morning!!!!!!!!!! So then to top it all off we booked another one who was set to arrive at 8.30 that never showed up lol oh dear it just was not meant to be lol Lucky we had the stereo and a bunch of mates cds for awesome music as the kids would think anyway lol.....In the end the party worked out really well for Aidan with all of his mates turning up there and as the hall hire had cost so much we had decided to charge $5 for the arm bands which they had to wear to get admittance...We ran out of arm bands at the door and ended up with what the police thought about 700 people there and thank god it was a hall.....LOL He had a ball really enjoyed himself and at midnight when he turned 18 he decided to wander down town to have a drink in a pub then go for a pub crawl himself...He asked me to come down town and have a drink with him so after I had cleaned the hall I wandered down town to have that drink with him...I gave him $100 and left him in the Shamrock with a mate he found there...I thought that if he came home in a taxi we could pay for it when he got here....At 4.30am I saw lights in the driveway and Ken got up to see who it was....In came two of his friends with Aidan ummm what would you call it hmmmm I know LEGLESS... They had found him at 4am knocking on the closed Shamrock door telling them that he was 18 and they had to let him in LOL...Oh dear...Well the celebrations went on for him into the next day his actual birthday and he has just started to come down now lol....Then came Michaelas birthday Mum arrived here at 9am with michaela and we went shopping for the day she was in a bad mood because she thought that we had forgotten about her birthday and we had just given all our energy into aidans.... While we were shopping Aidan was behind the scenes organising a little celbration of his own for her birthday so when she got home a group of people came and helped her celebrate her 15th in as well.... Well now I have a whole month before Tiana and Shys birthday so I think its time for a rest......Lol Not much else has been happening in the cook clan house hold so This is where I will leave it for today........

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR SUNDAY AIDAN I LOVE YOU FINALLY IT IS LEGAL FOR YOU TO DO EVERYTHING YOU HAVE BEEN DOING ANYWAY LOL

Well Aidan has moved out again and now this time he is moving away to Brisbane...I am scared he is moving so far away but he has been offered a job on the northside of Brisbane and that is where he is off to...Each time he leaves it gets easier LOL....Nikita is still enjoying school she wants to live there and shy is starting to hate it....John has got himself a school based appreticeship as a mechanic this year with my neighbour....10 points for going over and asking I was sooooo proud of him doing that and he said yes....I am not sure who was more wrapped me or him lol....Tiana has decided this year in grade 9 that she is not going to hang around girls they are nasty back stabbing cows she says so she is playing on th oval with the boys and she says that is the way she is staying....One of the boys lol....Oh Michaela well where do I start my little miss prissy has decided that she is boy crazy more that ever and she has come to me with a few little things that worry me alot about just how boy crazy she is if you get what i mean...She is still young but she is definately off to the doctor next week lol.... Well now for me umm what can I say....I am here and I am surviving...I am still having my ups and downs with my health and my mind its kind of like a roller coaster ride these days...And Ken is pretty up and down too these days so it really is a moody house lol but we get around it....Well thats all for now Oh Corrie yes he is doing well lol still in his terrible 2s at 3 and very lonely during the days while nikki is at school....But he is coping....So peoples until next time take care of yourselves.....

It has been two months so here is an update again......

Okay it has been two months since a blog so here we go again....Okay as those who know me know my eldest boy moved out for a while but guess what??? he is home at the moment for awhile until he finds his own place....Things have been good just a little full on and busy in the house any way lol....Then yesterday Nikita my youngest girl started prep she is now a big girl lol....I went with Ken to take her for her first day I hopped out of the car and had to get back in cause I started to cry...sad but true...You would think by this time onto number 6 of the kids that I would not be such a sook but it just doesnt get any easier for me lol... Here is some photos of Nikita on her fisrt day.....and Shyenne and Nikita in their uniforms all ready for school...

Okay time to blog me thinks LOL....

Well way over due on this blog so after checking my emails thought i better blog and let you know I am still alive and kicking...First of all thank you to all of you who have sent emails and well wishes through Black widow kate and kellzacar to me...I have gotten them all and thank you oh so much....As most of you know my eldest moved out and has been doing it on his own....That was the first in the long line of dramas...Things have been okay but getting a little stressful at times... He is not coping the best without his mummy lol but he will get through.... Then he went to schoolies with a heap of his mates this would have been his year....He had a good time but I didn't lol talk about stressful worrying about him....Then ken has finally been medically discharged from the army...So this has been a bit stressful on us...It means we have no income now and we have to live on our payout from them until we can sort out centrelink...It has been really hard finacially the phone is local only so that is why I have lost phone contact with alot of you...Sorry for that hey....I suppose that is what life is all about but hey dealing with whatever this life throws at you and getting through it...We are getting though it slowly...We have had our ups and downs but we are okay...Just sitting here hoping that our payout from the claim from the accident that got ken medically discharged comes through soon....Everyday I think of the lady that hit him on his motorbike and caused all this drama...He has lost his career the only thing he ever wanted to be a fireman all because she was in a rush and didnt look....her one mistake that i am sure she never thinks about has really caused drama after drama in our life...My husbanf will probably never work again due to the damage in his spine...He is grumpy alot now because of his constant pain whereas he used to be so happy go lucky and the list of things goes on....Baut any way enough of that so here I am alive and kicking anf still around just a little less obvious hehe...Take care all and have a great day....You know you want to lol

Well I have decided I really do miss my son it has been over a week since he moved out and I really miss him heaps...I never thought I would miss the teenagers hanging around and the loud music and the constant trail of teenagers into my house....They briong some smiles to the house really they do...As for this house things have calmed down so much....The kids are really comfy and cool about the fact that they have their own rooms hehe....the older kids all scored their own rooms and Nikita and corrie are sharing for a little while until after Chrissie anyway when nikita goes to school and she can share with Shyenne again...At the moment the two little ones are downstairs with us There is two rooms downstairs and four up so all is good....We have our own bathroom it is awesome hehehe....He has really settled in to the house up there...It is a little disconcerting to go up there in the morning and find him with a girl in his bed BUT he has moved out now and I have no say in what he does and who he shares his bed with hey??? Just lectured him a bit hehe not that he listened LOL...He is now a adult nearly hey...Oh well I better go this for now so I will cath up with you all soon take care and keep smiling.....

Well today is alot better I am feeling good about it all...I went shopping for the boys and bought them some food as there was none in the house...I gave them reciepts for what I bought and told them when they are on their feet I want it back hehe...Nasty me haha...The house up there looks great ...Aidan has been cleaning and the other two boys seem to liek that idea lol....When I left from visiting him he had told Ryan one of his mates that he couldn't just go out and do nothing...He was to help him with cooking tea...Oh dear he is sounfing a little like me hehehe....But oh well Ryan stayed home and they cooked the meal and then ate together all three of them....He is a bit like the mum of the house...But I feel alot better today about it all so that is al for today and will catch up with you all soon take care....

Okay He has moved out and I am sure that it is best for him but the feeling I got when I woke up this morning was one of emptiness....I walked around looking at things that are usually around like some of his mates and him lying all over my couches or sitting up playing the Wii....or playstation....Or them lying in snoring as they partied too hard at the party they went to the night before....I slept straight through with no calls from him of mum come and get me please the party is over lol...It is early in the morning still....But I am still not too sure how I feel...Today I am going to finish sorting the house and moving it around to where I want to put it it all....I am sure I will get used to it but I think it will take time and I will just have to cope till then....Well thats it for today so take care all and catch you all around soon....

Over the last couple of days there has been a few things said from my son that seemed very grown up for his usual behaviour....He is 17 well last night he went to a mates house and he discovered that one of their rooms became available to rent...It is about 3 minute drive from us....So this morning I get a text and He say come around mum and pick me up I am moving out today!!!!!!!!!! I was a bit taken back and a bit happy as well...As mean as that sounds this is a good thing I think for him....So today We moved him out....His things are gone and I am now in his old room....It looks weird to walk in here and see my things in here and his all gone very weird....I checked out his new room at the new house and it is set up and looking so good....He then pottered around all day up there and cleaned....the two boys he shares with werent the best so he thought he would do it LOL...It seemed kind of weird seeing him clean his house hehehe....He never did much here LOL...He is a little lonely going from this housefull to just a couple but one thing he did say was yay no more crying babies lol....So today I feel a little lost and a little happy in the same day as I think maybe my young boy has finally become a young man.....Well that is all my news for now take care all....

Well today is Shyennes Birthday and she is 8.....I feel really quite weirf about it as I feel like she has just grown so much in the last years....She is having a qiet day today but we will do something tomorrow for her bday as I have an appointment I have to be at today for me so we have decided to do somethig tomorrow for her bday....We are going to go shoppping with her bday money this afternoon if we can....So happy birthday Shyenne you are my little dancing princess and I love you with all my heart baby girl Mwah......On another note just quickly Ken has gotten his discharge date too he will officially be out of the army on the 7th of November....The board has decided that after the accident that he is unfit to be a firefighter anymore and unfit to serve in the army....He is a little miced in the head of how he feels but he is getting there slowly....When you grow up all your life wanting to be a firefighter then you actually get there only to have it taken from you so quickly then I suppose you would feel that way....I better go and get off to this appointment so until next time take care all...Mwah Angie.....

Well today is my gorgeous girl Tianas birthday she is the big 13....today we are going into town to buy some clothes for her birthday and to get her eyebrows shaped for her and buy some OMG girl things for her she wants.....She has always been my tomboy but as of last night she has stated that now she is going to be 13 it is time for her to look like a girl.....Im gonna cry....hehehe....Tiana is not my daughter by blood by I have had her living with out her mum with me for 7 years and with her mum on and off since she was 2 so I actually toilet trained her....This is just a quick blog to say that you may not be my biological daughter my darling but you are my daughter to me....I love you Tiana....With all my heart....So happy Birthday to you sweety.......I will post photos of her new look later on in the week.....or probably tomorrow as I have another birtday coming up for Shyenne tooo....Oh dear what a week....Take care all and have a great day....Mwah Angie

I have been having a couple of weeks off due to a few family dramas as my last article will explain...So I thought I would say hello to all who are interested and would share that I am back in a way for a little while on and off....I will be just jumping in and out as I can but wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the people who knew what had happened and sent their wishes to me and my family...I was not ready for a bit to share what had happened so only did so with a few on here who had wondered where i was....Once again thank you to all who sent those wonderful messages of support to us all...Things have gotten better with my son now it is just a time for me to heal myself and slowly but surely make it back into the world of reality if that makes sense and to get my confidence back for Minti again...I have so much catching up to do with voting and commenting on all the wonderful articles I was since I have been away...I will get there but....I had an all clear check up from my nueoroligist for my brain tumour...They feel there is no way I will get this back again now so I went out and got my tongue pierced....I know it seems a bit out there but hey it was something I have wanted done and so I did it....Maybe it is a mid life crisis I am going through LOL....It was probably the least painful piercing I have ever had hurts less than the ears I reckon.....So if you were uming and arghing about getting one go and do it....LOL...Okay guys the ones I am thanking all know who they are so I wont mention names here so take care call and I look forward to running into my much loved friends around Minti soon.....

Well the day is here 17 years ago my eldest boy came into this world weighing a healthy 10 pound 10 ounces......67 centimetres long and 42cm head circumference....Even though he is no longer my little baby boy and stands about 6 foot 2 and is a bit of a ratbag I still love him to bits of course LOL.....Happy birthday Aidan you are still my little man....Mwah

What a week it has been and will be for us

Well what a big week it has been and will be....This week has been a big week for all of us...A couple of weeks ago I had some bad news about my own health so I have been trying to be as positive as possible....It has been hard but hey I have 7 kids and they really need me to be around for them...So I have been....I had been waiting for the speacialist appointment and the first time I was supposed to have it they rang and cancelled it on the day...Then the next time they rang the day before and wanted me to move it from the morning till 5 in the arvo...I couldn't do this so I told them not to worry about it I will find another one here In town rather than travel an hour....So I am going to my doctor to get a referral to one in town here but I will do that after the weekend....Because this weekend is going to be sooooo full on...See tomorrow is my sons birthday he will be 17 and we are having a party for him....I have so much still to organise and it will be a pretty full on time for me to get it right...He has so many mates and I must say I am a little nervous about the whole thing but hey it will work out in the end....Then on Sunday we have another birthday Michaela is turning 14 and thank god she only wants lunch with the family and a day in the park yay....Not that I would care if she had a party too but two in the same weekend can be sooooo full on....I was sitting back and comtemplating the other day as the kids were chatting and watching a movie together hey and I am soo proud of myself and my family...They have all come so far....Sure it has been a bumpy road along the way...Aidan is being really good since he found about my health issues....Sure we are having the usual ups and downs but he is being great otherwise or maybe I am just getting more used to his highs and lows lol....John is just a gem of a kid...He is soo supportive and one of those kids that walk up to you for no reason gives you a cuddle and says I love you just for nothing....I love that he is just a gorgeous young man...Michaela she is such a little princess...The other day out of the blue she decided to take the little ones out into the backyard for a picnic...Just so I had some me time while Ken was at work....Tiana my little angel...She is struggling a bit with a few feelings she is having but came into my room last night...Her mum has gone and gotten married to a man the kids can not stand and she didn't tell them either...She said to me and Ken you guys are the best parents ever she said...I love you....Shyenne is just a little sweety to she has been extremely clingy of late due to what her mum has done but I must say I am loving it too...Nikki well she is just Nikki always happy and always smiling...Corrie just knows how to put a smile on your face all the time too...Some of the things he comes out with are just hilarious and sooo cute....Then My husband Ken he has been the best support this week...See sometimes I worry way to much about the little things that happen in my life...He said to me last night hunni I love you just the way you are...I love the way you are with your friends and the way you are with our kids...He then said he wishes he had the close relationship I have with our teens as I do...I think he underestimates the relationship he has with them but I am extremely close with my kids all of them...I do love my hubby the way he looks at life is so black and white whereas I let my emotions pull me along the way sometimes...I think looking at life in black and white sometimes is the better way to be sometimes...He looks at things so realistically...Any way I better keep on this moving train and keep doing what I have to do to get this party happening well....SO until next time take care all and remember keep smiling...It will make others wonder what you are up to...

Well this week has been a rough one...But it still has its bonuses...Every cloud has a silver lining they say...Well I started the week with chicken pox for Shyenne she had them last week and then Corrie woke up one morning with some little sores all over him OOPs chicken poc all round...He got a really bad case of them they were in his hair his ears and even on his feet...Poor little fella...we have dealt with it pretty well but I got a sick as well with a flu and had lost my voice for a couple of days but have slowly got it back it is still croaky...Then yesterday morning Nikita got up with a little red spot on her forehead and by the afternoon she had them all over her as well...Oh dear why couldn't they get them all at the same time...Then last night as I was in the bath...I found a red spot on my leg...Then this morning there was spots on my belly and aon my arms and even behind my ears...Oh dear I have already had chicken pox...3 times the doctor says the problem is that when i seem to get them I only get a small dose each time so all up I have 13 chicken pox so again I have not even got a good dose....Geez just what I needed...Oh Monday I went up to the shop at the top of the range to grab a few things and as i came around the corner to go up the hill to come home the car coughed and barked and then cut out....It would not start at all...No matter how hard I tried...So I waited 2 and a half hours for the racq to come and see what was wrong with it...They came and called the tow truck to tow it away then I had to catch a cab to get home...Geez...The mechanic rang to tell us that it would be $460 to fix it thank you very much....Great...So we went in today to pick it up as they said it would be ready today and guess what a piece had not come in so we paid for it and bought it home still not running properly and we have to take it back when the part comes in...So here I sit spotty typing away as I realise it could have been worse...I could have gotten such a bad dose of chicken poc that I couldnt function or OMG couldnt get on MINTI...LOL and the car could have cost 4460 LOL....So I am looking on the bright side of life right now....I am staying inside but LOL seems from the news tonight that Toowoomba was minus 9 last night!!!!!!!!....Thought it was colder than normal LOL...Till next time guys take care....
