who ever said that tv is bad for a child ,,,hmmmmmm its  wrong in my case lol

My boys have had soo many assignments its driving me nuts this is a hidden joy to that one dosent realise to have twins wow lol

while you get twice the love and twice the potty mouths from them haaa you also get twice the work load and they need twice the help from their mother aghhhhh

their school works never ending ...they just finished 3 each sience history and re and now have a few more still on going yet another science one and now geography and pe,,

this last one was great fun ( not )

ill give you all an eg on this and this assignment has been the shortest one yet the other 's where over 1000 words written by themselfs as all the ones has to be and also done on a computer

having twins do the same work but in differnt ways and differnt views and differnt scences takes along time ,, also when their computer now no longer works .

we do have another laptop but it dosent have the same functions as mind so its always been now a constant fight on how long each child spends on the computer at a time ,,

they put the alarm on so both of them get two hours at it each at a time

they where up till midnight finishing this one ,

other ones it has been till two am with them needing my help

NOW to also what i did becides helping them with their work

i went to watch the footy game canberra raider 's and the dogs  play .

my two year old slept the whole time on my lap ,, it was soo loud he must be comming down with his fevers again and he didnt flinch the whole time the game was on

and we are raiders supporters so we sat with the green army  they where belting out songs the whole time ,, it was alot of fun lol ..

sad but they lost ,,,,,,,,,,but after that i then came home and continued to help my sons with their work ,,and did some more washing and then vacumeing

.. today ,,, mmm ill cook and clean ,, do some word cards with my son and read a few books check a few emails and then when my twins come home its onto the next assignment ...

i went online to look up games two days ago we found the thoman the train site and went into that

they have a matching card game there with three levels

we put him on easy to start and showed him once how it all worked he listened and he aced the whole game mouse and all

he is now two days later is in medium and he also now just lastnigth went to hard cause he said its too easy mummy

he knows how to match all the cards and trys to time himself with his speed lol

he knows all the yes i want to play the game again and what to click on .. he amazes me with what he can do ,, its me that cant keep up with him lol

we went to the docs yesterday and he took all his word cards and wanted to read them all so i let him take what he wanted as i know we would have to wait at least an hour to see any doc cause so many people have the flu ,,

it was him that actually said to me in the moring  this

mummy i want to go to the see doctor jellybean ( not the docs name but after he see him he give him a jelly bean so thats the docs name for all of us and the doctor loves it when he calls him that also ) to give me medicine cause i feel sick and he will make me feel better.

i was like omg what a sentace

anyway while we where there there was a 3 year old also waiting for his appointment

sausage took his cards out and said to him ill teach you to read( another things new that he said that day that also blew me away)

he took them out and said hey boy look at this this word says polar bear you see it etc,,

the little boy was angry and threw his cards all over the floor ,, my son looked at him and said its ok dont be mad its ok the doctor will make you feel better lol

this other child was sooo naughty i had to get my two year old away from him as he started to bang tables and push my two year old arround ,,, my son said hes a naughty boy mummy he needs the doctor to give him medicine to make him be nice lol

when i called yesterday , i asked to see the schools headmaster tues i got no hes busy then wed then thurs then fri hmmm hes still busy is he will how about monday at 4pm

they where like umm umm umm ok but ill still have to ask him if hes free i said great but untill then mark me down im comming with my partner this time

( i have found out that they mark their kids results as a whole for the school on grades and thats why they dont like the slower kids to stay on cause it brings the whole schools grades down ,, well tough titties i say ,, so now i know as to why they try to get rid of the kids ,, thats just not on

they have been told that the headmaster will place them in the subjects

good cause it will be the easy ones haaaa

cooking digital photography , buisness studys etc,, i think that sounds great anyway

my friends son went through the exact same thing

she told the headmaster ,, dont say anything i pay your wages my sons going on and that it you can not let him continue school cause hes not a bright spark ,,

hes on a contract for next year and they said if he dosent hand in his assignments or homework he will have to leave the school ,, they are trying their best to get the slower kids out now i can see it soo clear, but they cant refuse the kids to go on cause they are not as smart as the other ones ,, what a bunch of snakes huh

less then half of year ten are going to continue on next year

Im going with my partner cause hes a bright spark when it comes to witty words and he knows the system only too well and can debate them alot better than i ever could

and funny this but the schools soo nervous about him comming with me lol

im waitng now to see if they will call me back today saying mondays hes just to busy and if thats just soo then it will be another week ,,

my boys are not bright but they do their work and are great boys , the system has failed them in the past before high school so this one we are going to fight till the end or im off to accurent affair ....

and they are not low grade fevers the highest ones are at 40.4, the lowest at 38.4

he has been having fevers way before i started this diary

I have started a fever diary awhile ago but after he had his second febrile convulsion

his first was in June 2006

second with fevers also was two weeks later 5/7/06

fever diary to date ill just put the dates here

August  7th to for 3 and ahalf days

August  23rd for 3 days

September  29th for 3 days

October  24th for 3 days

November 25th for 3 days

December , i lost the paper but he had a fever

2007

January i also lost the paper but he had one

Febuary 8th for 3 days

Febuary 24th for 3 days

March 14th for 3 days

March 28th for 3 days

April 18th for 3 days

May 11th for 4 days

May 31st  for 3 days

till june 2nd

June 26th for 3 days

july 20th to date has gastro right now and we are waiting for the fevers to kick in

yep fevers  kicked in now ,39.4 here we go again

August,24th fevers started again

Sept 16th fevers

had all the blood tests came back nomal the urine normal ammune system normal

hes not in child care or play groups hes not outside a great deal

when he is shopping with us we dont let him go to touch toys etc,, always having wipes on hand to clean him .

always changing dummys before they get old and the teats off his bottle

now we have been told to keep up the diary for another 6 months and go back to the specialist cause they have no idea

I was told in the beginning this is not normal for him getting so many fevers

then when the test results came back normal i was then told that thats what lots of babys have lots  and lots of fevers

contradicting everything he had said in the first place

It broke my heart that one of my twins was trying to hold back his tears and he said he shouldnt go into year 11 and 12 as it will be a total waste if time cause their grades are good enough and they would struggle to go on

Im proud that they wanted to go on and not leave and do nothing ,im proud that they wanted to continue even know they are not like most students that find school easy

they want to get the most out of school before they leave

we are going to look into going to tafe full time to do a trade for next year

but it just broke my heart as its like saying to a child you are just not smart enough to go to year 11 their spirit was broken this morning ,

I have a fever diary i presented that

now the test results are saying hes fine ,,

but cause he still dosent know this ,, hes saying keep doing the fever diary for 6 more months and if its still on going come back and ill look at things again

doctors and specialist should just swollow  their PRIDE and say hey yes as ab normal this is I DONT KNOW WHAT HES GOT

this has been happening since he was 8 months old and hes now 2 and a half ,,

ecery specialist we have gone through that cant find out whats causeing this has said come back in a few months and yet still nothing and say come back aggggg

im going to look for specialist number 4 now

he even tryed to say its cause hes arround children ,, child care and he keps getting fevers cause of this

i have said over and over again hes not arround kids nore does he go to child care grrrrrrrrr

well after 4 hours i think it was ,, sorry my heads not all clear this morning

he did go but he ran arround the house also and i lost the sample in his nappy aghhh

back to the drawing board

2am he was fast asleep on me i was fighting to stay away myself he still didnt go

i just ended up taking him to my bed i really needed to sleep also

i had left the bag on him hoping that he will just let loose and give me the sample i really needed , well he did but it was all over my bed instead ( typical he let loose when i couldnt stay away any longer ) there was still a bit in the bad this morning so i put that in the fridge

i think it may be useless though as it might be contaimated ..

i cant do any more this morning as i have to get ready and get him off to get the blood out to be tested ,.im really not looking forward to it either poor bubba

i know it will be hard as hes got alot of extra padding where the veins are located ,,, it just needs to be done ,

then friday its the hearing test

he still had a fever so in a way it was sort if good cause then he could take a look at his throat and ears.

he said that even know his throat was a little red and his ears a little gluey it isnt enough for him to have such high temps and predictable ones every month also .

the nest step is to check the urine again and the bloods for unusual things like kidney disease thyroids whatever they can think of ..

this will be done this wednesday and then friday he will have a hearing test , he hasnt got any problems with that but they want to rule out everything ..

last friday morning i was on msn chatting to a mother on minti as shes a nurse trying to get a few tips on how to get my son to pee in aJar lol,,

right after the chat i went ahead got myself ready and him in his room thinking that its not going to take long for it to just come out

well 6 hours later he still hadnt done any wee for me ,,

i cant beleive how i spent the rest of the whole day in my sons room for this and got no results lol

he had lots of water and also i had ready a warm bottle of milk thinking after he drinks all of this he wii go ,,

i was soo wrong nothing,,

i knew the blood place was closeing at 4pm so i was desperate to have the sample and go get the bloods the same day

.well i called them up at 4pm and told the lady that it just wasnt going to happen for us that day and made the next appointment . she did tell me that i can get a special bag for him to wee in but i would have to go there to get it ,, ( but thats not going to happen as i dont drive dont have a car and dont have the money to go there and back by taxi to just get one from them ..

so its back to the jar lol

tuesdays going to be a full day of just him and me sitting there the whole day again just trying to get a sample ready to go eith the bloods for wednesday ( i was told that i can put that in the fridge overnight )

wish us luck to get this done ,,,,any other tips would be very helpful

I did have him butt naked ,

i did have lots of water for him to drink and warm hilk

i did have him watching his favourate dvds to help him relax

i even was tickeling him in hope that he would just burst lol

all i got in the end was a stiff back and a headache and was bored as ..

i even was rubbing his tummy lightly to help him wee aghhh nothing ,,

he held on for 6 hours straight

as soon as i put his nappy on his did number twos ewww lol

so ill try it again

its been three weeks and a coupple of days this time since the last ones ,, before that it was every two weeks

he was waking up every three hours lastnight with the shakes

i didnt miss any of the three hours med time ,,i guess nore did he ,, cause as soon as it wearing off he mumbles and breathes heavy in his sleep

Im glad i have the fever diary to take to the specialist today i have a years worth of fevers recorded in there and the temps and what i have given him and how hes been

, I feel soo bad for him though its not nice for anyone getting sick ,, but for him to go through this every few weeks without fail would be worse

i guess the good thing i can take out of him getting the fevers lastnight is that hes got the specialist appoinment today so i guess they will be able to see i hope just what is making him get them ,,

there has been signs leading up to yesterday ,, as in hes been crying at almost anything the last few days before his fevers

Wish us luck today and hopefully the specialst can get the ball rolling on the fever saga

hes been acting sad and wingy on and off for the past few days ,, i knew this was comming . he gets like this just before he gets the fevers ,, yesterday he wouldnt even let me go to the bathroom by myself without crying for me . hes been crying at really anything the last few days , yesyerday afternoon his cheeks started to turn red and he was laying on my lap haing a nap ,, and yep he goes ,, took his temp and its on ,,

this time its been three weeks and a few days since the last fever and before that he had them every coupple of weeks in a row ,he was up every 3 hours lastnight with the shakes and crying ,, i had him right next to me in bed so i wont loose track of giving him his panadole then nurofen on time every three hours either one or the other

this time its fallen on the day I go to the specialist to see why hes been geeting fevers since he was 8 months old ever few weeks without fail

so as bad as it is poor little bubba i guess the good thing about it is that if they do any tests today it might also help them to see just where the fevers comming from .

I just feel soo bad for him ,, it just wont let up ,,

wish us luck that the specialist can get the vall rolling today since hes ill .

well they went to do their test and the poor bubbas where soo anxious about it ..

with a few cuddles and kisses and sound mummys advice to take the test slow dont rush and just do the best you can ..

they called me up shaking they passed ,,

i slept though the the three hours mark and he was winging and i felt his shaking next to me ( that woke me up ) hes due again for another dose very soon ,,,

its only been two and a half weeks since the last fever and that was on mothers day ...

no doctor can tell me this is normal for him to be having fevers like this since he was 8 months old ..

i saw her early yesterday day morning and she was up on my wall outside watching me ..

my son had started his fevers again so i didnt have my usual ciggy time with her . but i didnt think anything of it as she looked good that morning ,,

it was only after i had put my son down for his napp and went to the kitchen to make a coffee she few next to my window and sat down in the sun ,,

I opened the window and started to have my little chat to her ( yes im a little weird but she always came to me and she was a wild bird ,, i had become attached to her as much as she was with me )

she started to act a little funny she looked a little distressed also and wouldnt eat the food i threw out to her ,,

so i went outside next to her to see if she was ok ,, i brang her water also ,,

she looked like she was trying to get comfterable wiggleing arround and stuff..

this stressed me i didnt know what was wrong or what to do ,,

so i jumped online and mel was there and she gave me the number for wires to call ( thankyou mel),, they inturn told me that i could take her to a vet and they will take care of her ..

That was my next stress how do i take a pigeon to the vet i dont drive or even have a car and my sons ill ,,

i called up my friends mother and spoke to her caring flatmate , she inturn called up my friends mother to call me ,, she said she will be here in a few hours to help me with this bird ( they knew about this pigeon cause i had spoken to them about it before )

i just sat next to her and she twisted arround and just looked at me thats when she died..

I know to some its strange and to them its only a pigeon , but to me it was more .. she came to die next to me cause she felt like she had a safe place to do it ..

It really broke my heart though ,, Im just glad shes not suffering anymore

my friends mum came here in the afternoon to take her away to burry her in her garden  I was soo grateful for that ..
