i use S26 as the new formula is very simular to breast milk ( karicare is too )
i think its more up to you. i trust S26 Gold or karicare gold as they are really suitable for children with allergies (unless its a severe reaction

Anything is worth a try you know? I would even totally switch up how your feed him right now. If you nurse him sitting in a chair.. lay down with him. Or do a foot ball hold. Or do a foot ball hold. Change the placement where his mouth is.. it will make it so he is not sucking right on those sore spots. I know you are frustrated and in pain! You can get thru this.. I am so sorry your wee one is biting you. It took me a good week to teach Jacey to stop.

A few monthes back my daughter had me incredibly sore..I finally discovered grapefruit seed oil. A few drops on your nipples a day takes the soreness away! It is heavenly. I could even wear my bra again. I did it just before nursing and after. It has a natural antiobiotic in it too. I found mine at a health food store. As far as the taste she did not seem to mind at all!! I used a q-tip on myself it seemed easier to apply that way.

If you want to research it a bit heres a search :) http://www.google.com/search?q=grapefruit+seed+oil+for+sore+nipples&rls=com.microsoft:*:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7ADBF_en

i used heinz nuture for my youngest 2, its cheaper at the chemist down the main street than supermarkets. Most people i know with kids used it as well or S26 i have used to. I think its a personal choice some have extra vitamins but you pay more for it.

I used Karicare for one kid and S26 for the other, there is also an organic one available, Belamys, I think. S26 is the one most widely marketed and sold, therefore it is probably the freshest, they also have ones that have enriched this and that! Hope you nipples recover

Hi
My children didnt like the taste of S26 at all for some reason and they prefered the Heinz brand. I found Heinz very affordable and i had no problems with it at all. Here is there website and info on the formula if you want to read more about it here - http://www.heinznurture.com.au/products.htm.
