my son enjoys playing with my fil, but i wouldnt call them close. even when fil lived with us, he wasnt close at all.one day my mil arrived (lived out of town) and he hadnt seen her for awhile and instead of clinging to me when i was next to him, he went all the way over to my fil and clung onto him.

it could just be that they are bigger/taller, hairier, deeper voice ect then you.

is it possible that a male yelled at her or something? or accidentily knocked her over (my son always gets under my feet!)

my son also disliked my brother for awhile. he would blow his nose very loudly and it would terrify my boy. thats all it was, nose blowing.

It normal. They become more clingy and get a little strange towards men and people they don't see a lot of. She will grow out of it, but it can last up to 2.5 yrs. Don't leave her in a sitiuation where she is obviously upset, but maybe a little extra tine with just her and her dad won't hurt.
Good

She wont go near any other man at the moment, not even those who she has grown up with knowing.. I think its just a stage & hopefully they grow out of it!
