There are many legit work at home jobs like, virtual call center agent, virtual admin assistant, transcriptionist, home based translation, Writer, editor, proofreader etc, There are several website that has list of companies that offer these kind of jobs, but best one is given on www.workathomedesk.com

There are real work at home opportunities, but it depends on your skills and experience. I'm a programmer, and I've been working from home for about 3.5 years. My boss let me start working at home when I had my oldest child. I feel so fortunate to be able to do it. There's a link I can share with you:

Can you negotiate with your current employer to work from home, at least some of the time? I returned to work full time when my daughter was 6 months old and was able to negotiate 2 days a week from home. My husband is home full time with our daughter so that helps me get work done on those days. I really love those days at home and find that I actually get a lot of work done.

I do agree there are a lot of scams out there
but i have joined a bussiness that even though there is selling involved it is mostly based on team work
It has a huge support network and you are not left to do it on your own.. I love it!

YES but it involves selling through party plan. I didn,t think it would be my thing but the products are so beautiful that they practically sell themselves. I can give you all the information you would like and it is ok to take your children to the parties as I take my 17 month old with me the presentation dosn,t take very long so the child can be kept busy and it only costs an initial $100 down payment and then the other $175 comes out of the sales you make. The company has a health plan , and holiday rewards also a car if you make it to a diamond director so please if you would like free info let me know.

I think that unless you make your own home business, most of them are scams. There are so many advertised, they cant all be legitimate. In fact very few are. If you and your friends and family get together, maybe you can come up with something that you can do from home. Advertise to type for people for uni assignments, or do bookwork for people.
Just a suggestion.
