I have read through all the other advice comments and the one about stick on earrings is such a great idea, I will definately be doing it with Amy when she becomes interested in earrings.

At the end of the day it is your decision as she is your daughter but please remember that they are her ears therefore it should be her choice, would you let someone take you to have your nose peiced without being consulted about it? Just something to think about.

They play rough and could have them ripped out, they don't understand the responsibility, they are still at the age where they out things in their mouth and could choke on them. It is very painful and when they are little it is very hard for them not to touch the earrings with dirty fingers as they like to play with them.
There are some great stick on earrings so that they can change the look all the time plus clip on earrings for her to play with.
You have to keep the same pair of earrings in for 6 -8 weeks and what 2 year old wants that.  They want to change them like mum does and look pretty

If you like let me know a way to contact you  I will send her a sheet of stick on earrings It has about 30-40 pairs of pretty pay earrings on it.
