Hi
I am going to this workshop. My sister went to one in Perth and said it was great. I agree with a post above no money is too much so spend on your baby and sleep of course. Have you decided are you going?

I know that $125 is alot of money (especially for me) but if it does benefit your child in the long run is it really that expensive? My answer is no! Sometimes we have to spend money in order to be able to gain advantages! And even if there is a disadvantage to it, big deal..... there will be something else to come up! No money spent on a baby is a waste!

Sorry I forgot also to mention that Tizzie has a book out called, I think, "Save our Sleep". Maybe you should buy this first and then, if following her advice doesn't work, then opt for the email support.

Hi. Yes, I also used Tizzie Hall. I paid an equivalent fee for three months email contact wih her. I found that her advice worked at the time and it worked rapidly. My daugher was 8 months when we started and had only had two catnaps for 20 minutes each throughout the day her whole little life and was waking every few hours throughout the night. She was also standing up in her cot I could not get her to lie down. Within three days of Save Our Sleep she was sleeping through the night. From memory the day naps took a little longer to organise but soon enough she was having two one and a half hour or two hour naps per day. She was better rested. Yes, the money was worth it. Having said that, I found that Tizzie often talked about a baby "calling out" rather than "crying". Really, I still can't tell the difference. There is a lot of being left alone to cry in this technique and, in truth, I wouldn't employ it on my second child. We were, however, absolutely desperate at the time. Hope this helps.

I would suggest going to your local health clinic and talking to a nurse about your problem. It does seem like an awful lot of money but if nothing else works then maybe it might be worth it but I would try everything else first. Have you tried keeping bub in a tight routine and seeing how that works? If he wakes during the night it is best to keep things low key and quiet. Don't play with him and try to avoid eye contact as much as possible. Perhaps if he realises you are not going to stay up with him he might not bother and just go back to sleep. Hope this helps. Good luck.

You could try your local child health clinic most towns in australia have one and some have stay in clinics like others suggested. All totally free. If the don't have a clinic they can give advice. Also try you Womens Health Clinic for information relating to your area.
