start by expressing every 2 -4 hours to get your milk supply back up.... Also try to offer breast first before giving bubs any bottles....

If you still have trouble getting your supply back up you can also see a doctor and get a prescrition for a drug called maxalon... its an anti nausia drug that also can be used to boost your milk supply... and its totaly safe....

i also suggest you drink plenty of water..... i was drinking 1-2 liters between every feed.....

i know its a hard but with determination and persistance it can be done.... good luck if you have any more questions you can minti mail me.... I had to go through all this because i had to temporarily stop breast feeding all together for 6 weeks cause i wenton realy harsh anti biotics but i was determined to put her back on breast once my meds stopped....

and im glad i did.... formulars expensive....

The more your son drinks from you breast the more you should produce. This is what happened to me. .I started to dry up in the beginning but when he was able to latch on properly the more he sucked the more I produced.. So yes you can go back to it...

you can do anything you want hes your child.. but if youre wanting to bring your breast milk up, gettin him feeding every 2-3 hours, or express when you can. I had to stop feeding for a week because i was on antibiotics that we ended up finding out that he was allergic to, and i nearly dried up. but for 3 days all i did was nurse, pump, and express.. i was persistant with it, something you need to do. if your really comitted to it you can do it. and dominik was fully breast fed so your not going to need to bring it up as much. you will produce as much as you need. but just try to bring it up first whether if you produce more than you need thats okay, because then you can start with a "clean slate" and feed him when you want him to be on the breast, your body will adjust!

But i personally think you should breast feed every feed and supplement 2-3oz with formula, because this way he'll have less of a chance to reject the bottle, because hes getting both in one feeding. if you change it like that he may not like it that hes gettin one thing then another a couple hours later. but you never know he may be fine with it. Dom was fine with it until about a month or two ago.. sometimes id feed him a bottle. but now he wont take it.
