With a good psychologist/counsellor/coach, you could get rid of your phobia in about 15-20 minutes. But obviously you'd have to pay their fee to have the phobia session.

I also am scared of the xmas beetles , i live above a shop and they just love light ewwwwwwwwww so they are always near my frount door fighting for the light with the moths ,, screeemmmmmmm ,

give me snakes mice and spiders anyday but the others ewwwwwwww ,, its making me feel ill thinking about it now

Hi there

I am s%$t scared of clowns. When they are at the shops I will walk as far away from them as possible. I have absolutely no idea why! I am even more scared of dolls with flickey eyes. You know the old style dolls that are made of hard plastic and if you lean them forward their eyes would open or close. My mum has one and I am forever telling her to get rid of it b4 she carks it cos otherwise I will be tossing it. Apparently they r worth a bit of money too. I dont know, maybe I watched those chuckie movies when I was too little and it made an impact!

sorry i mean PHOBIA'S argh!!!!!!!
i'm pretty bad with the whole vomit thing i cry and will even call out for my mum lmao i know your all laughing ha ha not funny lol
and with balloons i scream if thery are near me and will even have panic attacks over it, it's something that stems back from my child hood but i can't shack it ggrrrrr
my kids torment me with them and my aunty thinks it's a big joke so she tries and sneaks up behind me and pops the balloons not a good thing to do to someone who has a phobia about them ggrrrrr

lmao well you will all laugh at this one i bet, i fear balloons pmsl i know you read right lol, and i also fear the whole vomit thing, and it's extremely hard as i have to have balloons for my girls b'days and i vomit when all of us get sick with gastro eew and believe me if it is going around we will be the first to catch it lol we always do
i don't have any advice on how to get rid of it or help you get through it i just deny i5 until i have to deal with it lol it works so far

hehehe my phobia is cockroaches and spiders..... i now have a fear of crowds (STOP LAUGHING AT ME)!!!!
My partner, he cant STAND large crowds of people, his chest gets tight his BP goes up and he starts to sweat and he wants to belt people to get them out of his way!!!
HE also has a fear of needles!!! Even when just watching them on TV, he looks away and says is it over yet! I just laugh at him!
He once told a doctor that if the doctor wasn't careful the next time he tried to find the vein (dr's 8th attempt or something) then he was going to remove the needle from doc and shove it up the docs arse PMSL!!! Mind you, he dind't tell it to doc, he yelled.... and his mum was in the waiting room, along with 10 other people PMSL, so you could imagine all the looks they both got !!! (this was when he was a young stud.....before i was even thought of hehehe)

I'm with you on that one. I hate the whole thing!!!! I will do everything I can not to vomit!!!! I turn into a child grrrr!!!! There is nothing worse to me than an outbreak of gastro, hello paranoia!!! Let me know how you go hunni. Hopefully it will work or we could just bulid a bubble to live in where no one can come in and it's the cleanest place on earth lol!!!

i freak at a sign of a mice in my place and it makes me shudder to know that it is here somewhere to it gets caight.. Also hate spiders as well, and will get a neighbour or mick to remove them if they are big and hairy lol

i wont laugh my partner is 33 yr old 6 ft tall man. he once jumped through a shower screen cause there was a frog in the shower wif him i had to go n get it out.

hi there spiders are my phobia. take last last i grt up 12pm {bottleforbub] Everyone eles sleepin, there's a dirty great big spider in the door way of bubbas room i run get the broom try to hit it but missed then chasing this horrible thing around the house not to close mind you. that's why i kept missing . finally went and got fly spray and sprayed it then got a bucket put it over the top so it couldn't go any where. after i went back to bed i couldn't sleep . finally i got to sleep and kept waking up having nightmare about spiders.

You are not alone . . . I am the same . . . I will do anything not to vomit . . In fact if i do vomit I find myself crying like the biggest baby you have ever seen . . My kids even laugh at me and if there is a bug going round the two oldest and their friends take bets to see how long before i puke and if i will cry . . . (sad isn't it) . . .

Hummm..interesting,my fear is not having enough money to pay bills,bugs,snakes and creepycrawlies I can get use to thanks to having kids! But if I'm going to get up tight it's over that. They just completed a study and the the number one thing people react to,get upset over and avoid is vomit. Apparently goes back to survival and avoiding illness! So you who have that are normal.

hey there, i dont really have any phobias, just a few fears...
vomit really isnt one of them LOL

my fears are loneliness, night noises, (even worse when you put the two together)
and electricity. If i hear anything that seems out of the ordinary coming from anything electrical, i have to either throw it away, take it back or if its a powerpoint. i tape it up and never use it again...
i was electricuted when i was younger, i put an open corded plug into a live socket and fried my hand!
so i have been affraid of electricity for a very long time LOL!

My daughter is terrified of them too, we had one in the bathroom once and I had to bath her in the laundry tubs for a week and even then I had to show her it was dead and then it took a few days after showing her it was dead before she went back into the bathroom for a bath. She was not yet 2 at the time! We have open floorboards and would be prone to getting them but I vacuum every morning then spray the house with surface spray and that's meant to keep them away. I also put out flea bombs every 3 months just to make sure nothing got in. It's amazing how she'll allow a fully grown python around her neck and hold a baby crocodile, yet she is terrified of cockroaches. But that's phobias for you. She's turning 4 in august and not over it.

Hands down mine is cockroaches. I am absolutely terrified of them!! Once when my husband was on a night shift and I was sitting up watching T.V I saw one crawl out of the corner of my eye, well it took me 3 hours to get up the courage to kill it, as there was NO WAY I could go to bed knowing it was in the house. So there was 3 hours of me throwing things around the room trying to get it and then jumping up on the lounge to get away from it. We didn't have any insect spray either so I tried deoderant and harispray......they don't work...... I finally got it by throwing a children's encyclopedia on it.

By the way both my boys aren't affraid of them, they will kill them for me and get rid of them......they are 6 and 2.5.....

I don't have a phobia of vomit, but if I get vomited on by anyone other than a baby spitting up a bit of milk I vomit as well. I fear being up high with nothing holding me there. I can go on roller coasters or the Tower of Terror and all those big rides. Can stand at the top of a lookout over the edge of a cliff really high up, but at the age of 27 I have never been in a plane. I always go by train when travelling long distances even if it's the difference between getting there in 3 hours and getting there in 2 days. My daughter will have to have her first flight with someone else, maybe her uncle, otherwise she'll miss out if she waits for me LOL.

I have two. A phobia of needles - and I don't mean they make me anxious or I don't like them, I truly have a phobia of them or anything needle-like including syringes without the end, pens that look like needles.

The second one is leeches. I think the two phobias are probably related. I can't walk in rainforests when it's rainy or in swampy areas cause I just get so shaky and scared.

Grasshoppers...any over about 8 cm long. I will walk out the front door of the house if there is one on the back stairs. They make my skin crawl. And to have one flying or jumping anywhere near me, my heart just about leaps out of my chest. All of my kids have been taught how to deal with them. I once had one in the house, and could not be there until it had been removed. Leisa

I also shake and go white as a ghost when i vomit, and can't stand anyone else doing it either, because probably most of the time i will vomit when they do, as i can't stand the smell of it. I'm the same as you.

I have three really bad phobias, small spaces is one. I can't even sleep in my bedroom without the window being open, even just a crack, even in the middle of winter. Number two, BIRDS!!!! I can't handle them anywhere near me. I scream if one of them comes near me! Third, is exactly what you have a phobia of, vomit. I can't handle it, the smell, the noise arrrgghhh!!!! What makes it even harder is when my little one does it and there is no one else to deal with it but me!!!!

A friend of mine had an intense fear of spiders and went to a hypnotherapist. She said it worked really well for her and it took her only two sessions. Guess the power of suggestion can be a really powerful thing.

i know i know you are going to laugh, but my phobia is frogs, uhh just the thought i them jumping on me with there slimy skin ahh it gives me goose bumps just thinking about it. im sorry to say i have not fixed it and don't thinnk i will as long as a frog is in 50 metres of me i am ok!!! lol.
