I went to this group and signed. reading others stories is a great comfort. i have also visited some wonderful sites because of this group. Not sure if youve seen this or not but it was in the lost or miscarried babys site

Just yesterday I saw a program on foxtel and this lady lost one twin and the other survived, a bitter sweet thing to go through. Anyway she showed this lovely locket that her Aunt had sent her with a pic of the lost twin and a pic of the saved twin so that she always had them both close to her heart. She felt great comfort she said from that, and I thought Yes, well, that would be a very lovely and comforting way to remember.

I don't know how far along you were, but it needn't be a photo if one is impossible to have had. You could print soemthing the right size on the computer with what you may have called him/her and the date you lost him/her, and then you would have the memory of that baby near your heart until you are ready to finally let them go and move on, should you ever. But that wouldn't be discarding, it would be carefully and lovingly puting them some where safe, whilst you moved forward.
