Lucky you! My daughter was diagnosed at 6 months and has been on medication ever since. She was originally diagnosed as a grade V, but has since improved to a III at age 4. The doctor's do not think her's will repair itself, so we are gonna try the deflux procedure in late July.

My daughter didn't have renal reflux but did have a stent put in (pyloplasty) to clear a blockage in her ureta. It was uninvasive because they didn't cut her open. But they went in through her urethra up through her bladder to the ureta and put a little tube in. The surgery didn't take long at all...it was day surgery. She was six weeks old at the time...so it's pretty amazing what they can do. She had tests done (nuclear medicine) for renal reflux but it wasn't it and unfortunately she ended up having to get her kidney out when she was five. I know it's not what your little girl is having but it sounds like a similar procedure. I would do some research or ring the hospital or surgeon to get more info so you can get prepared and let your little girl know what happening too so she doesn't panic when it's all happening. Best wishes Txx
