I think that the sentiment behind Winja's Q was really that we should just be more sensitive about the way we do things. I don't think she was attacking anyone but expressing a view. As others have commented, blogs are for expressing personal views and as long as they are in line with the Code of Conduct, I reckon anything goes. If you disagree with someone's blog, you can say so, but if you can't do it nicely, just don't.

I think that the debate will continue and I think that's right - we all have a wealth of personal experience. But for me, it comes down to the fact that we should support, not criticise. Debate, not argue. All the time this is happening, then people shouldn't have cause to get offended (and we have no right to be offended purely because we don't agree with the other person, only if they are being offensive). So, my take is that Winja is really sending up a rallying call to play nice. We all deserve it!

Most of whom have nothing against bottle feeding mothers. They just want accurate information and support out there so that all women can make educated choices and can get the support they need to allow them to happily proceed along the path they have chosen ( be it breast feeding or bottle feeding).
I have to wonder how many of the bottle feeders who get upset by pro breast feeding comments may have actually been able to breast feed had they been given the right information and support when they needed it. Surely if you feel upset that you were unable to breast feed you would not want another woman to feel that way too if something could be done to prevent it.

In response to the  comment by one member that she didn't know it was a blog when she clicked on it  from the home page.
