I don't know how to stop this so what I do is when she coming into my bed I get up & put her back to bed, lay with her for a min to make sure she is back to sleep & then go back to bed (unless I end up falling asleep in her bed lol)

That is what has worked for me.

I understand that your son may have been upset about no going to kinda but unfortunately when you are that tiered not everything goes as planed.

So once again you are not a bad mother you were a tiered mother who needed a little extra sleep that morning (which you are fully entitled to being a mother)
