			<description>Thanks for all your advice, I have taken to leaving him now .. just peeping through the door to make sure he is ok and i have found he goes from standing to sitting then will just flop over and go to sleep.</description>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[My son was a deadly sleeper for the longest time...once asleep he would be great and sleep through and all that but getting him to sleep was always a problem.&nbsp; I would just put him in bed and leave him there (with the baby monitor on of course) until he fell asleep.&nbsp; Rather than going in a ton of times to lay him down...he's go when he was ready.&nbsp; Our house too is quite cool so once asleep then I would go in and cover him up.<br />
Do what you think is best, remember you are the mom and you know your child better than everyone.&nbsp; I do know that my son changed his sleep habits several times in his 2 years, and tried the same sort of games so best of luck to you!]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[This is typical &Iuml;'ve learned to stand up&quot;behaviour.&nbsp; How many things could he possibly fall on and hurt himself inside his cot???&nbsp; I wouldn't stress about it if I was you.&nbsp; Sounds as though the way you have done it with putting him down and leaving with limited communication has worked thus far, it usually takes between 4-7 days to change a habbit in a baby, and so far so good, it's worked once, it'll work again, it will take a week of persistance.&nbsp; My daughter is found asleep on top of books under dolls upside down in the cot etc.&nbsp; she roams all the time, I just right her before I go to bed &amp; cover her up.....it's what they do, don't stress, let him roam even, if he's not crying badly, he's just exploring, he may not be quite tired enough, have you tried pushing bed time back 30 minutes until he's a bit more sleepy?&nbsp; You're doing the right thing I think.&nbsp; Keep up the good work, as long as the cot is structually sound and he has no dangerous objects in his cot, I'm sure he'll come to no harm.&nbsp; (My daughter also has sleep bags...no worries there either)]]></content:encoded>
