			<description>Hi ,In Western Australia to get the diagnosis for Autism you have to see a Developmental Paediatrician,Speech Pathologist and a Clinical Psychologist then the three of them have to all agree that they have sufficient criteria for the diagnosis of Autism.Not really sure if all states are the same.&amp;nbsp;My son was diagnosed July last year with ASD. The report she send us made it look like my son had the worse case of autism ever but his only problem is he has delayed speech development (in nov he was only saying about 80 words now he can say probably around 1000).&nbsp; The best thing for you is to call autism australia they can tell you what you need to do and send you some info. Basicly for a child to have a diagnoses of autism they need to see a speech pat. and psichologist, you can also have it done at an assestmant center where a group of few specialists work together at the same time with your child. Enroll him in early intervention (it takes time to get a place so do it ASAP)]]></content:encoded>
