thanks everyone! i asked mum today and she said that she will think about it which means yes when it comes to my mum, i explained why i didnt want one last time and she said as long as it doesnt ahve to be as big as her friends it should be ok heeh there were like 100 ppl plus at my mums friends one! my mum has a theatre which would be perfect for a shower and i sooo want to have one there! wish all my minti mums could come

of course you can ask for one i didnt have one with my first but i almost demanded one with my 2nd baby and it was great.. so go ahead and ask honey i only wish i could come.. lol

I didn't have a baby shower with either of mine, and I had never been to one until about 2 months ago! Now I wish I had asked someone to throw me one! I had a few people telling me I should have one with my first, I just said to them if you want to organise it I'll have one - nobody did though. I would go ahead & ask, there is nothing wrong with that!

just ask your mum nat , tell her that you would love one this time and how much fun you had at the one you went to ,, im sure she will be excited arrangeing it also ,,with my last one i forgot all about even having one lol ,.I wish i did now though . jump in before you miss the boat xxx.. where about are you nat? can we all come lol minti shower lol

hi. i agree with everyone else here i can 't see why you can't ask mum to throw u a baby shower .I think she woulds enjoy doing one for u

It is fine. Every baby deserves a shower in their honor. Besides, you didn't even have a shower for the first one. Talk to your mom and see if she would be willing to throw you a shower since you didn't take her up on her first offer to give you one. I bet she would be so happy to do this!

Of course you can ask your mum - I'm sure she'd be pleasantly surprised, and delighted to help you. Invite heaps of people, and don't be afraid to drop a few hints about things you really need too.

I can't see anything wrong in asking for one. If you feel funny cause you said no to your mum last time, explain that you didn't feel right back then, but would really love the experience now, especially after the one she threw for her friend. Leisa

There is nothing wrong with asking, whats the worst casenio she says no...

I had 3 with mine and i suggested all 3, and i think i held my own with brodie with my sisters help...

And i email you my adress as i love baby showers ...

yes you can ask for one. i also didnt want one as i just had my wedding and didnt want to pressure ppl too much.

Of course you can Nat............If it were me I would. I didn't have a baby shower for either of mine but I just didn't think of it, and obviously no-one eles did either.....lol........ Sometimes people just don't think of it.
