You could have him evaluated by a child psychologist if it doesnt end. They can do tests that will either put your mind at ease or alow him to get any help he needs. Keep smiling, and know that we all have children that do unexplained things!!

Hi
My elder brother did this and used to jump of things and land on his head....funnily enough their heads are pretty tough
Spose they have to be
He grew up as normal as any brother could.....ok he was a pain lol
All my kids have gone through this stage
Rowan has aspergers and he did it
Megan is "normal" and she did it
Jalan is Cystic Fibrosis and she did it
So you can see it makes no difference
My friends sons mate will often hit himself in the head and he is a teenager.....
So unless he is showing other weird signs like lack of cognitive development or something jsut listen to everyone and relax
They don't usually hurt themselves too bad....
Wish they had a pointy head so that at least i could get some nails hammered in
She has good and bad days but its becoming worse when she cant do something now she will throw herself on the floor and smash her head now lol. I do agree with on this.

Most doctors will tell you that he is seeking attention but i find that they do it because they are getting fustrated even within himself and nothing has to trigger it off. he might be trying to do something and you wouldnt notice and he cant achive what he is trying to do so the starts to hit himself. I have 6 kids and out of the six 4 of them did it.
