Hi! I also have a 12 month old and this diet looks pretty good, although I don't see any fruit in there besides the banana at breakfast? My son has a similar routine though, but he now only has one nap so he has lunch around 11.30 then goes down for his nap by 12.30 & sleeps for 2-3 hours. As for the formula, you can try changing to cows milk now if you want to, and maybe in a sippy cup. My son is still breastfed morning and night but since his birthday I have cut out his lunch bf & he has cows milk in a sippy cup, I will be soon cutting out his morning bf too & giving him cows milk in his cup instead. It's entirely up to you when you change to cows milk & when you stop using bottles. Keep up the good work!

I have heard that they recommend cuting out the bottles by the time they are 2yrs old as it can cause their teeth to come through wrong or something - but if you are worried about whether she should have a bottle of milk or not, why not try giving it to her via a sippy-cup as she still needs a fair amount of milk for growing bones.

You can cut out the formula at this point and substitute cow's milk. Though this is entirely up to you...there is no harm in continuing on with formula (though cow's milk would be cheaper).

If you switch to cow's milk, you can give it twice a day, whenever it is is entirely up to you. For my son, I tend to give it at breakfast and at dinner.

As far as the meals, you're doing great. At 12 months, I found that feeding every 2 hours was the schedule that works best.

Thanks that is great. I feel worried becuase you get all sorts of advice to cut out milk bottles after 12 months, it's as if they will die or something. I tend to let my child lead the was with in reason it feel natural she will indicate her needs....thanks for your advice.

To me this routine looks absolutly fine and very simular to my daughters at this age as for the milk it is totally up to you if she is still happily having her bottles being formula that is fine my daughter just one day totally refused her formula and she has drank cows milk ever since . It sounds like your doing a great job good on you

I think it is very natural to worry if we are providing the right food to our children but from what you wrote i think you are doing an excellent job, each child is different my first was a struggle to get to eat anything and my 16 month has a very similar diet to your child and loves his food. As for the milk as long as your baby is still enjoying and needing the bottles than keep going the way you are my son was having up to 4 bottles a day still after he was one but now at 16 months he tells me if he wants one or not and if he is not thirsty he won't take it.
