Hi, not sure if I will be of any help but I have just gone back to work part time and bubs is in childcare 2 days a week.  Our childcare costs over $60 but you do get the 30%  rebate back.  Just ask your childcare about it, or centrelink.  So I work the 2days a week and every 2nd w/end.  I also work evening shift.  So I take bubs to care after his nap and then off to work and my partner will pick him up and feed him and put him to bed etc...  My partner also will look after him on the w/end.  I get the extra money from working evening shift and the extra from working a w/end all the penalty rates etc..  It is hard and if I wasn't doing this then I probably would not work.  Half my pay goes on paying for the childcare.  It is a big juggling act and you both have to work at it, a bit of give and take.
