I would try and drag them out another few days to see if your body kicks into action! I think that unless bubs is in danger the more intervention that has to happen, the more likey a c-section is. ( I had the whole works with my first...horror story....so I have been interested in the advice given in case I am brave enough to try again ...for a VBAC!) Fingers crossed, you have the birth thath you want!

My waters broke naturally the day before I was booked for an induction. But I still had to be put on a drip as nothing happened!! So I am not sure really as everyone is different. Have lots of sex, and go for a long car ride over a bumpy road :)

The have found that there's a 1% chance of uterine rupture if you have a VBAC and most hospitals won't even risk letting you try for it.
Thank you ...... l understand fully and maybe you are right my body just aint ready to have the baby..... l really dont understand why the docs will not wait until 42 weeks (like they did with my pervious babys) to see if something happens as every pregnancy is different and last for differetn amount of time.

Unfortunately, if your body is not ready, then it won't be ready. I've had this same experience during my last pregnancy - I had my cervix membrane stripped twice, a foley bulb to cause dilation, my water broken and pitocin to induce labor and I still ended up with a c-section. Many people will swear by different methods - having lots of sex, castor oil, eating spicy food, nipple stimulation but everyone responds differently to every method. They may or may not work for you. I wish you luck in the delivery process.
