Ears piercing is obsolutely fine for ur baby now ...N' regarding toys i wud say go for colourful , musical and all kind of pop up toys and ride ons .Dharsha njoyed the same soon after her 1st b'day.

Otherwise, for their 1st birthday I like to think that they should get something that they can keep as once they get older they will pick and choose whatever toy is popular at the time. So perhaps a book like a collection of books or nursery rhymes?<br />
My friend got her boy a big piggy bank. <br />
A 'special' &nbsp;teddy? <br />
