I have a Swiffer sweeper that you can shorten the handle, making it perfect for little ones to use. I also give Paige a squirt bottle of water and a paper towel to "wash" the french doors.  She will clean her tub while taking a bath so I give her a new "Magic Eraser" to use as it has no chemicals. (That is all I use in her bathroom) I let her "help" fold the laundry by having her find all the socks and wash cloths. I think it is great to get them involved in household chores while they still think it is fun!

Our 1 year old helps to put the plug in the bath at night.  Our older 2 help with whatever we can find for them. 

The only thing we can't get any of them to do, is pick up their toys!!!!!!!!!

i would get him to help with everything and see what he doesnt like and just not get him to help with those.

there are some that you cant get them to help with like bathroom and loo (the chemicles at that age), but after awhile he can help.

I started with me handing him dirty spoons and forks to put in the basket in the dishwasher. I also had him throw dirty clothes in the washer and he loved that too. But definitely, "helping" is not everyday because things do take double or triple the time to finish.
