I asked about it when she was born only to be told not to worry about it. I never however, got any other information on why or what (if anything) to do about it. It doesn't bother her so I thought I'd just leave it unless it does start to bother her. It is so reassuring to know that she is not alone and others have it too! I will be interested to see what others have to say about it too! Happier to know i'm not alone in wondering about it as I feel a bit silly asking people. LOL. Dee

I never knew what it was and took him to the Doctors about it thinking it was hemarrhoids but that's when I was told it was a skin tag. It doesn't seem to bother him unless he has a really bad nappy rash. And the Doctor said if he is in any discomfort I can treat it as I would hemarrhoids so I have cortisone cream for children, canesten cream and paw paw ointment. The paw paw ointment (which we can get here in Australia) is fantastic and is extremely soothing while also acting as a barrier cream. I hope this helps! And I'm glad to know that other babies have this problem not just mine as I'd never heard of it before!
