my daughter only had two teeth by then. first tooth came out at 10 months. we just soupafied everything for her. tis odd but somehow she still managed to talk properly and sing ALOT even with hardly any teeth at that age. it was just the eating solids and eating independantly things she was missing till she was about 1 and a 1/2.

my baby girl had 2 or 4 teeth at 1 and nothing til 18 months.

We were told by the dentist only to worry if they havent got them all by 3.

My friends daughter did not get her first tooth until she was 13 months. She was fine. She was still able to eat everything that she should have been eating at that stage. The only problem is that once she started getting teeth she got them one right after another. She experienced stronger than normal teething pains and her parents got very little sleep.

try not to worry too much, my little boy is one and im still waiting for his gums to let the two teeth hes just got pop through ( can see them but the gum is still thinly over it). he had alot of problems eating solids and has only just now been able to eat soft solids without choking or gaging. every baby is different. my daughter was 10 months when she got her first teeth, and i was worried a bit but the dentist assured me everything is ok.

if your too concerned give the dentist a call but i think shes come along in leaps and bounds soon and eating everything in sight. all the best :o)

My littlest cherub is the same age and has the same - only 4 teeth, two at the bottom and two at the top (not above each other though....- Yep cross cutting...)

He can chew his food though, when he wants to but he also spits out lumps especially when tired....

Ny middle cherub didn't get teeth for ages after she was one....But she is catching up now though almost there and she is 2 and a bit.....I was very surprised at what she could eat without any teeth.....

My eldest cherub got teeth at 9 months....

Each child is different, they get them when they are ready.....Don't stress....It will happen....

For now take lots of toothless grin pics and enjoy your little cherub..

My niece didn't have any teeth at twelve months old so don't worry they will come in time

Hi Bree,

At 12 months old my daughter only had 2 teeth and she is now 16 months old and only has 6 teeth. I was told by alot of minti mums and my doctor not to stress and they will get teeth when they are ready.

At the same age my son had a mouthful of teeth. Kids just develop differently.

I know a baby girl who didn't have ANY teeth at 13 months. She was able to eat all solids. It is morelikly to be that she is a fussy eater.

my 12 month old niece has only 4, she never had trouble chewing even before she had them, so don't worry, the later they come out, the later u have to start taking care of tthem!!

My oldest had all his teeth by 13 months but my youngest had only 4 teeth at this age - he got them at 10 months and didn't get anymore until he was about 13 1/2 months...then he got 4 more & is now 26 months & only just gotten more teeth - he still has all of his eye teeth to come right through as they have only broken through the skin a little, and he has another 4 molars to come that don't look like they are in a hurry. He has never had any trouble chewing anything though - even before he had any teeth. There is nothing to worry about.
